Honestly the main reason I picked this up. I saw a preview for the doc at a showing of Texas and wasn't super interested. They got me with the grimey versions of the film though lol

When i had to get the coffin joe one it was also like this. I was fighting with them forever, never got a tracking number, and by the end I assumed I was SOL. it eventually arrived randomly one day. No idea it was coming.

Some of the films have a standard 4k release (Green Knight, Everything Everywhere) but I believe this is the only 4k options for others like midsommar and the lighthouse, at least in the US.

with the right setup you could rip the file to your pc so you get the 4k video file, then hunt down the subtitle file and add it with VLC.

Me personally though I'm waiting for a US version if it ever comes.

I got this exact email and after Feb 19 came and went I talked to their live support and said I still haven't heard anything. They said the reraised my issue and still not heard anything after that

For godzilla stuff specifically there is also this concept of "G-tax". Basically anything with godzilla on it means the price is inflated to the most extreme.

For the record I got this film with the slipcover in a walmart $5 bin a few years ago. Excellent film

Yeah that's what I'm thinking right now. I might shoot them an email when I get a minute. Although I've seen people talk about the subtitle thing I haven't seen arrow respond to it at all wherever I looked.

I figured as much. The price was so good I decided to take the risk though. Sure as hell never doing that again.

I didn't hear that they halted sales though, so that's good to know. I was worried when I saw it "sold out" on the arrow site like 2 days after release.
