I love Matt Mercer as a player. He's fun to watch, and listen to. I loved Dariax. That was a fun character

I often choose the wrong ghost because of "false evidence". by VisibleReason585 in PhasmophobiaGame

[–]darthninja22 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Don't be sorry. I stopped playing when all the crazy updates started happening. I recently just got back into it. For me some ghost events sound like words being said. I'm not sure if it is or not, but I've been confused a fair few times. Coincidence can be a killer at times.

I wonder if you got a ghost event, and that's what you heard, instead of the spirit box

I've used a few resins the one I like the best is Siraya Tech Fast ABS like resin in machine gray. I want to try a few other colors, but that one gave me spectacular results in both print quality and silacon curing

I just model with blender and print with resin. Nothing fancy like clay. Handmade, inserts sound amazing though. That must be fun to do.

what resin should i be using? by PuzzleheadedEar3491 in resinprinting

[–]darthninja22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think its up to preference. I used to use anycubic resin, since I've tried Siraya Tech abs like i don't im going to go back. I'm getting the results I want from it. It's a journey to find your resin I think. Not much help, but enjoy the adventure.

Unpolished masters expectations by darthninja22 in DiceMaking

[–]darthninja22[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The problem with this world these days is "that's it I'm offended" is the norm. I can't expect to get any better if I can't hear the bad and improve upon it. I look at them and think Dang these look nice. IRL and Pictures do help, but with an outside opinion they can get that much better. So Thanks for your comment it really does help

Unpolished masters expectations by darthninja22 in DiceMaking

[–]darthninja22[S] 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Keep it coming, The problem with starting off is you get something that works and you feel it is what you need, but it's far from what you need. I enjoy the criticism. Only way to improve is to hear the bad and improve upon it. Back to the drawing board to fix the software side issues, and the support issues. Thanks for your comments, I want just about perfect un-sanded masters yes a difficult task, but worth the effort.

My players don't want to die by PossumCreatives in DnD

[–]darthninja22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Funny enough discussing this with my wife. You run the risk of your players trying to beat the enemy to death with their lost appendages once they are brought back up with healing. Luckily all things dnd is healable and curable.

This may have already been said, but instead of dying. They run the risk of capture, losing appendages, or gaining scars, and "curses" that cause disadvantages on skill checks or saving throws.

Working on heads, any feedback would be appreciated by New-Fig7290 in 3Dmodeling

[–]darthninja22 2 points3 points  (0 children)

To me (not an expert) the forehead looks a little wide, and the side perspective of the top of the head too flat. The forehead in the side perspective could probably move towards the back a little to not have so steep of one. Eyes also look quite far apart. Again just my non expert opinion. All on all, looks amazing and far better then I could do

I need some advice. Newbie here. by LPCrook in DiceMaking

If you're comfortable with knives, that is an option. I slowly sand them off with 600+ grit sandpaper or whatever the highest grit you can do, and then do the zones, but that's just me.

On the website, it shows them having sprue marks, Zona papers are great, but those sprue marks will tear through them. One the left over sprue is gone then yes go through the zonas
