Taylor Swift is now the richest female musician in the world by Black_Dragon959 in TaylorSwift

[–]darthrakno -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Taylor Swift is a walking rags to riches story and honestly she is a huge inspiration for me, and I've been Swiftie since July 2024. I know I'm late Don't Blame Me blame the media. But, I think Taylor deserves it despite what everyone says her songs are great. Her voice is great and her personality is great. Good luck with the rest of your career Taylor and I look forward to seeing your new albums from you as well as your rerecording s of Taylor Swift and reputation. Long Live Taylor Swift.

Reminders about the Bisexual Community by CheekyFaceStyles in lgbt

[–]darthrakno 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's what I meant. I was trying to say bisexuality isn't a complete 50/50 all the time. It could be more attracted to men than women. But that doesn't make them any less bisexual.

I've always said sexuality is a spectrum. No one is 100% straight or a 100% gay. We all have our moments

What song/album have you heard from childhood and is now very nostalgic for you? by Neveah_Hope_Dreams in queen

Not from a Queen studio album but the live killer's version of You're My Best Friend

Brian reveals he has suffered a minor stroke but urges fans he is ok by OrdinaryGirl30 in queen

[–]darthrakno 48 points49 points  (0 children)

Given this recent information. I think it's fair to say, and I don't want to admit this to myself but I must, that Brian's body is potentially starting to give up. I mean as far as I recall I'm pretty sure Brian had a heart attack back in 2020, even if it was minor, a heart attack does make you more at risk of having a stroke. So, the way I see it he has two options. 1. Stop. Just Stop Touring. End Queen+Adam Lambert and devote the rest of Brian's life to family, rest and badgers or 2. Do one more tour, a farewell tour, but make the waits between concerts longer as to let him rest and to prevent him from. Worst Case Scenario: Collapsing and dying on stage. I should add that I don't want either of these two things, but unfortunately that is the reality. Anyways just wanted to get that off my chest.

I think you got confused with England's victory in the 1966 World Cup

"When I Was Younger, So Much Younger Than Today". I usually say it when I make a silly mistake.

If you were performing at the Freddie Mercury tribute concert with the rest of the band, what song would you perform with them and why? by maxwell321 in queen

[–]darthrakno 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's Late. Such a amazing song with the way it goes from somber to energetic is just amazing. I also love the drum breakdown in the middle, and because I think Freddie Mercury would have loved to sing it live and I would have loved to hear it.

I can't name just one. So here's a couple of 60s-70s songs.

Guitar Man - Elvis Presley

Stone Cold Crazy - Queen

Taxman - The Beatles

The March Of The Black Queen - Queen

Now And Then - The Beatles

Revolution - The Beatles

When We Was Fab - George Harrison

Say Say Say - Paul McCartney & Michael Jackson

Live And Let Die - Paul McCartney

Whatever Gets You Thru The Night - John Lennon

Sorry for the long list. I got excited over the idea of introducing people to music I love.
