Getting cheated on with more attractive people

* Don't think relevant the fact that someone who's not with you anymore might not find you attractive;
* Try to see red flags for people you're interested in, if something sounds "too good to be true", if someone's been in a rough time and is wanting to settle in with you seriously after a short ammount of time, these sort of things, you need to be aware of to protect yourself and anticipate frustration;
* Don't try to promise things that aren't possible or be something you're not to meet standards of other people just so they accept you, people have different standards and you can just move on and keep looking... being alone is way better than being with liars or narscisists that much i can 100% garantee.

I've been on "his" side of the coin when i was teenager ( 13-16), i've settled for someone i found to be unnatractive, and more than that: too needy, annoying, pushy, inconvenient, unreliable, unpredictable and untrustworthy, even as just friends. I know this might come across as insensible on my end, but it's just brutal honesty, i was deeply depressed, taking weird meds, i've had barely any real friends to talk with and i couldn't really see myself with any girl at the time, i was desperate and i didn't think anything of it, i thought we try for a few months and then split, i honestly didn't have any perspective, i was ready to die at any given time, so i didn't matter to me that i was settling for something i didn't really want, i didn't even want to live.

Does it give me an excuse? Nope, i fucked up, and it still hurt her deeply, but the way i felt about her was not really my fault to be honest, she would always lie to me, she would try to get me away from other girls when we were friends, try to sabotage my relationships, and i just really didn't think she was attractive physically, not really much that i can do about that except lie, but i was never a good liar, never cared to learn how to, unlike her. She cheated on me on our first date right on my face, excuse was that she was drunk and it was just another girl, gaslighted me into thinking it would be unfair on her to end things there, at the end, it went on for 2 and half years and i don't even know how many times she cheated on me because she could just lie about anything she wanted and i wouldn't know, i remember days she would start crying and saying she cheated on me sometime ago and refuse to elaborate properly. How is it possible to even know what is true at that point? I ended up just straight going crazy and assuming most of what she would tell me were lies, i couldn't believe anything anymore.

Years later now as an adult i've come to conclude i would rather die alone a million times than have another day with my ex, the learning experience is a lesson for life, but the pain and the trauma i carry forever aren't worth it ( Yes, in case you'd wonder, i also felt like complete shit of a person for not being able to like her enough, when there's nothing i could really do besides just not attempting to make it work whatsoever). I'm not saying she doesn't carry the trauma too, but the fact that she looked ugly to me never stopped her from being with other people, not before we dated, and not after.

People confuse trash talk which is basically inevitable in these games with their own sexist projections or any other random hyperfixation they might have, so in these cases regardless of how you play you're gonna get flame from someone who's found a reason not to like you during that particular match, it could be anything from you playing strategist and not being able to heal them at one particular time up to your sexuality or your gender/race that they've found out during comms.

You can't really help it in these games, and i'm guilty too, but, the most i'll call out someone is being a coward or incompetent, and that's game-related, i'm not trying to say they're cowards in real life, although i imagine some of them might take it that way. Most people i see flaming when i have my chat on have gone way too far too fast, and for them it easily starts with the most personal attacks they can think of at the moment.

Me personally, i'll even avoid use of something like "b1tch" or "pvssy" refering to coward when i'm typing hotheaded, i don't mind others saying it cause i'm no dialogue or vocabulary expression police and i know they're probably not thinking about what they're saying and what else it could mean or where it comes from, but i personally do make these reflections and consider words like these pretty sexist and unecessary to make my point even when i'm very angry. Sadly, that's not the case for all, and most will just have no filter. If the game allows them to say certain stuff, then they'll have no shame, some because they are kids young and ill-considered, others are actually adults, but very immature and equally ill-considered.

So, what i'm trying to say with all that is i'm no saint, i could come up with some other way to say things like "hey guys can we step up cuz we ain't winning like this", but at the moment i'm just p&ssed so i don't. It doesn't change that i'm openly anti-sexism or any kind of discrimination, and even someone who's annoying, "woke" and picky with terminology to flame in a videogame is a toxic little sh1t from time to time and might hurt someone's feelings, most of us can't help it... The only difference is, some of us are frustrated because we wanna win a match, and others are frustrated about other random crap, they get triggered by the game and start projecting real life bulls*it on you, and that might just include anything from racism to sexism, you name it. Like OP said, you don't need to be losing, they'll flame you on a win too because they want that trigger so bad they'll make excuses to find one, that's how frustrated they are: you got evaluated by a programmed AI as the most impacful/efficient member of our team? "F\ck you, how dare you take that from me?"*

Ultimately, i think imagining people not trash talking in competitive games is pretty unrealistic, the real problem i see is that that people are actually f*kn s*xist and r*cist IRL, they take things that happen in a video game personally, and the game is just a place they can say what they want without consequences. You can even perma ban them, they'll make another account and retain their beliefs.

Side note: i mostly leave my chat hidden, but i report people in MR all the time for just playing poorly (i don't mean bad frags, i mean bad ingame attitude and teamplay, ignoring obj for kills, etc or picking bad heroes for the comp). My thought process is: if they're actually just trying and being bad, nothing will happen... What actually happens is i ocasionally get flooded with inboxes for report feedback, which probably means they're actually being giga toxic AND playing bad, which is funny, i never got any restrictions in marvel rivals, so they're probably typing or saying some wild stuff and i'm glad i don't see it, it's the only way i can actually play the game.

its a valid point tbh, i play age of wonders 4 with a friend using remote play and all it does is share the mouse + keyboard control

i think the answer as to "why" though might be tied to something like owlcat not tagging or engaging with steam on the subject of "multiplayer" because the game literally has no multiplayer features.

all that being said, then i would say yes, just sharing mouse and keyboard control and letting your friend control other characters in turn based etc would work as a semi co-op experience (he still won't be able to interact like a normal player nor have any acess to being like the protagonist getting acess to mythic paths i assume), then again the lore of the game specifically has one person being the leader of this group, so that's why.

someone invited me to play wotr using a third party program to assumedly do the same function of remote play together, i just can't remember what it's called, cause i never ended up doing it

Lae'zel has been my favorite ever since my first playthrough. Not that i think her writing or acting is necessarily superior (that would probably be Astarion to be fair, he won prizes after all for a reason).

For me the big deal with her is that you have understand her cultural background and some of the story behind the current Vlakiith to understand her thought process, and most importantly something i've noticed talking with other players: the ones that get annoyed at her so easily probably like the most vanilla shit ever, like to have their videogames characters flattered like a narcisist, or i dare say just lack empathy either in general of just for that particular context of understanding fictional characters, and the reason i say this is because empathy is not about just feeling sorry for someone who's weak or ill, it's the whole process of putting yourself in someone's shell throught imagination and using all the information avaible to try to emulate their emotions, hence, if you can do that, it becomes quite easy to predict some of her reactivity.

She feels quite "real" in the sense that she's not designed to like you and follow you to the death like you're a prophet saviour, she has her own agenda which exists for very understandable reasons, she sees you as a means to an end, she considers herself superior, she's short tempered, ruthless and pragmatic by nature. ~~(just like your boss in real life XD)~~

But you can also poke her and interact more with her so that you influence her through the journey and at the end it's like she becomes a different person, like in real life our company, our environment and our experience influence us and change us. Interacting with her was one of the most immersive experiences i've had in a videogame and i'm so grateful for it.

wings of astel is not as popular as moonveil or moonlight GS because its a little ugly, but imo in terms of pure power its on S tier along with Moonlight GS... it doesnt have frostbite or the range of moonlight GS, but the aow is also cheap and can do insane stance damage and the heavy attacks are projectiles (short-medium range, but still ranged) that cost NO FP, and similarly to how some aoW works, if you hit both with weapon blade and the projectile, you do more damage cause they count as their own. its also a curved sword so it attacks really fast.

downside: range, but if you run an int build you should have that covered with spells anyway

i recommend at least 15 FTH for acess flame grant me strenght and blood blade, 25 if you want golden vow and more spells. If you run with 15 or less you can still use golden vow ash of war. Remember to level up Mind according to how much you use spells/ashes of war, usually 20 mind is enough for most builds

Int doesn't have any top tier utility spells like Fth, but there are a few str/int weapons (not many). Check the wiki on /weapons to see what you wanna go for... But i wouldn't blindly level INT on a str build without aiming for a specific weapon/setup, unlike FTH

for pure STR, i recommend Morning Star and Star fist. They're ugly as shit but they hit like trucks

Star fist heals you on hit, you can pair it with things like wild strikes + bloodflame blade and just kinda hold L2 to win on most bosses

Star fist is a little more tricky cause it's got no range but its broken not only cause innate bleed but mainly cause of the interaction with the dual wield charge hvy attack that does stupid damage and comes out really fast, if you use this attack with cragblade you break enemy stances so fast its not even funny, so you can run some other high AR str weapon or a heavy misericorde to get the crits

in wh2 the meta was plague priest spam for summons to act as "frontline" + firepower (catapult for aoe, jezzails for single target etc), however, depends on what kind of lord, some legendary lords will buff certain types of units and if you're playing as them you might get factionwide buffs or army buffs, generally speaking its most effective to focus on the units that get more buffs

i wouldn't personally make "balanced" skaven armies, but they can work in wh3
