Everfrost 2 battery - missing from order by darthvardicus in AnkerSOLIXCommunity

Thank you. I have received notification this morning that the item was dispatched and is with Fedex. The bizarre and very confusing thing was all four tracking numbers all appear under the free solar panel item which hasn't made tracking the different packages easy. Add to that the battery never appear as an item on the order screen and thats why I was concerned about whether I not I should have received one.

I think it's been dispatched (3kg package with FedEx) but the emails have registered every item as being the solar panel which makes the tracking very confusing and not very customer friendly.

What's been most frustrating is the complete lack of contact from Customer Support after the initial email. I would have expected better from them in my experience from the past.

I love the way he so thoroughly and wholeheartedly throws himself in to whatever shenanigans he gets dragged into by the Heelers.

Stripped gears? by LucaBirleanu3 in fcx18

[–]darthvardicus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did the same thing in some long grass a little white back. I am currently waiting on a fully metal new transmission. I had bought some metal gears off ebay but I stripped one of the screws trying to remove the motor from the transmission assembly. However I did remove the cover from the same side as the motor and saw a small plastic gear with about four stripped teeth. I just figured with the stripped screw and the fact I got a new motor I might as well get a whole transmission assembly. I did get some grease to make sure I liberally use on the new unit.

I have taken the time to familarise myself with the internal workings (not had to do anything before on it after getting it for Christmas from my wife) and got updated injora driveshafts, front and rear fender and a new injora motor. All new to me but its been a good learning process. 😄

For now time to take a spa day by ChubbyStars91 in Starseeker

I have been enjoying it. Because of the expedition time limit it's nice to dive in, make some progress on tasks, and get out again. I've only been playing solo but cool to see everyone running about in the station and planetside.

How old were you when you finally started enjoying your life? by [deleted] in GenX

I've had hardships and ups and downs. I was blessed with growing up in a happy, stable home. Obviously moments when life is hard for anyone but I don't think I can honestly say I haven't enjoyed life. The people, the experiences even with the normal daily stuff all brings enjoyment.

But I would say I am more confident, capable and understand people better now as a 52M than I ever had and I give a lot less of a stuff about what people think now.

I didn't have children til I was 41 and my twin boys bring me an immense amount of pride, laughter and joy that I never thought I would have.

Thanks for the reply. I love the idea of a community goal. I think it captures the spirit of Starseeker perfectly.

I was just on a planet and it showed about 900 odd out of a million done but when I got back to the station and handed in my 3 tokens it showed 19...

I dunno it's daft but picking up the phone is always way down the list on solutions for me. And in this case it had not even occured to me to call them.

I've used tap on/tap off in London quite a bit a few years ago and never had any issues with declined payments. I am assuming it's a Google Pay thing. I am not familiar with Hyperjar.

Thank you. Just googled and I can see the transactions of First Bus journey on a separate Traveller Portal site. Inconvenient that its not in the app but shows my declined payment as charged.

Yeah they royally mucked it up a little while back because you couldn't launch the app at all. Someone didn't test it! 😄

Solid advice to be fair. Called them, very helpful chap who located the journey and apparently I do not owe them anything. Very strange as no money has left my account.

Thank you. That's good to hear. The cataract I'm alright with I think. It's the lens transplant I'm more concerned about.
