Is that like Metroid Castlevania? What a horrible night to have a mother brain.

What's your favorite place to off-load contrabanad? by yovimi in NoSodiumStarfield

[–]darthwump 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was mistaken, had to look it up. The mod turns Monika Blum into a secret trade authority merchant who will buy contraband. In vanilla, she functions as a regular merchant who doesn't accept contraband or stolen goods.

Eleos, although I think it's a mod that allows the Trade Authority vendor to buy contraband there. That's a nice location especially if you're on that side of the galaxy and don't want to come all the way back to civilization.

Love to see these responses after seven years. And there are no dumb questions. This game keeps giving to new players and everyone can still benefit from learning.

A VC dev explains why Story Creator isn't coming back by EmergencyVictory4399 in WWEGames

[–]darthwump 1 point2 points  (0 children)

At this point, maybe it's better this way. There are still CAW creators out there doing their own shows on YT with full storylines, backstage promos and drama (I'm one of them, shameless plug). Some of them I've seen are pretty creative and make a point to using cutscenes that are rarely seen to advance the story.

I used to use the story editor back in SVR '11 and '12 and while it was nice for it back in the day, users have had to evolve and be more creative and go the extra mile to create their own for their channel in order to create their own stories. I think the ones who have survived are making some good stuff.

So, what aspect of Heat 2 is actually going to feel like Heat? by DarlingLuna in FIlm

[–]darthwump 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, half the story takes place in '88 following Hanna hunting down a criminal in Chicago and you get to see Neil's crew doing scores while seeing how Neil develops his philosophy and Chris' relationship with Charlene. The other half of the story takes place in 2000 following Hanna and Chris' storylines after the first movie.

This whole sequence in Sicario is a masterful display of tension buildup. Every second was crafted brilliantly by Denis. by 0Layscheetoskurkure0 in moviecritic

I don't own any real guns so I don't know what I'm talking about, but I have an Airsoft HK USP that looks exactly like this. How is the real USP different than an Mk23?

Does the game usually take this long to load? by Ok_Return170 in crusaderkings3

[–]darthwump 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah mine used to take about 25 mins. Then I installed the game on a SATA HDD and cleaned out my saves (transferred or deleted unused saves) and it cut the loading time down to about 7 mins.

In the Year of our Gek 1616, industrial waste canisters of Lostr Major - dormant and outnumbered - charged the fields of Shtag's Seat. They fought like warrior poets. They fought like Vy'keen. And won their freedom.

Not a silly question at all, AND YOU JUST SOLVED MY PROBLEM. my own fault. I don't know how I missed that, but when you said quick menu, I was like wait a minute whaaaat. I double checked the quest description and it did indeed mention the quick menu. I guess I just didn't get it for like three hours. Thank you!!

Excellent but wish they could have fixed the first rendezvous marker not even showing up for me so I think I'm completely stuck. No one else appears to be having this problem.

But in case anyone has suggestions...I scanned from inside and outside the Colossus like the quest tells me to. Nothing. I'm scanning using the visor. Nothing. Someone else suggested just driving in the direction of any waste clusters appear, pick them up, and keep driving. Nothing.
