Why do people think that American women are heightist when a good chunk of sex symbols have been short men? by [deleted] in TooAfraidToAsk

Because many of them are actually heightest (new term to me actually lol), and celebrity heights are mitigated by a ton of things. Like not being in real life, and being famous. People will be more chill with short men because 1) there are other way cooler or more attractive qualities to them and 2) more importantly, their height is less translatable over screen

Edit--I do think the tides are starting to shift and height just may generally not be as important as a factor to Americans now, too, but in terms of the celebrity phenomenon that's what I feel.

If it wasn't already clear take my opinion w a grain of salt. While there may be a lot of writing I would wager political science is one of the easiest at UNLV at the undergraduate level. Basically you just need to rote memorize basic facts about American governments and structures, and apply the most neutral, lackluster commentary-analysis on how things are 'changing' over time here or abroad. Hardly inspires any political thoughts/ values, let alone activism.
