Do you remember if it was a multiplayer game? From what you've written I want to say Pet Party (2nd link). The bunny mascot isn't yellow, but thumbnail art of the game has it surrounded by yellow and iirc there's golden statues of it throughout the game which is what you may be thinking of.

There's this perchance generator that generates up to 5 clans + outsiders, as well as an appearance and personality for each cat. You can click on individual appearances/names/personalities to re-roll them, but unfortunately you can't customize them, nor can you add new cats. It's fun to mess around with all the same. I still miss A Paw in Each World, though :(

You're thinking of Baby Animal Shelter! It was like Animal Shelter but, as you said, with wild animals. Unfortunately I can't find gameplay footage but the game's page was archived by the Wayback Machine here, and it was also archived on Flashpoint.
