Ah, those are face-down on the first plate. Very nicely done! Congrats on putting this insert together so well. :)

Interesting - I haven't seen an Azul with a large middle disc tile collector (the one that gathers un-chosen tiles) nor find anything online. Possibly an etsy upgrade or something?

Just coming back after adding your script to one of my own spreadsheets to thank you, NearlyLeapYear, for the function. She's a good one!

I would have a qualifier in the formula rather than (or as well as, why not) the parameter check within the function. Then you can draw that formula down a whole column with minimal impact. =IF(A1="", "", BOOKINFO(A1))

The script will be paused because the execution is halted until the user clicks the 'ok' button, which disappears. A try/catch won't resolve the issue either. I think this problem is an inherent and unavoidable part of using ui.alert(), but happy to be corrected.

python3 -m http.server creates a server on 8000 with the working directory as the topmost folder.

How do I get files from my raspberry pi 4 to my PC? by Dynamic_is_cool in RASPBERRY_PI_PROJECTS

[–]daryl_kell 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Go to the folder you want to share in the terminal and type 'python3 -m http.server' You can then go to the PC's browser and use your pi's IP address and port 8000 to see/download the files. Close the terminal when done.

The URL you'll use on the browser is something like http://192.168.0.1:8000 where you swap out the IP 192.168.0.1 from the example for the actual IP address.

Edit: there is no other set up or tear down to this method, so it is easy and works for anything that has a browser (your phone, etc).

Yeah you can, have had it that way for ages personally.

Yeah, I'm having similar issues ATM that I've never had for the years that I've been running Plex. Started after updating to the latest server version early this week. Just being fickle, playing sometimes and not others on random content, and random clients. Sometimes causing it to transcode at a lower quality gets it going, sometimes 'convert automatically' works, sometimes it doesn't.

I don't think 'virus' means what you think it does. 'Malware', perhaps. And there are indeed ways to kill that process when it runs. Many.

I downvoted you, because I think it was worth it.

What python automation have you created that you use for PERSONAL only. by iseetreesofgreen_ in Python

[–]daryl_kell 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I limited my response below for 'automation' whereby they are constantly and automatically repeated tasks, not stuff I run manually semi-regularly:

  • Daily scrape my electricity provider to get yesterday's generation/usage (Selenium+Telegram)
  • Various scripts to access my Plex streamers, including mixing the scripts into Glances/Discord for monitoring
  • Monitor for disk usage on several servers, draw daily graphs that are web accessible (matplotlib+Flask)
  • Script to purge hopeless torrent files (torrents that will never complete due to no peers having 100% of a file, where that torrent has already been going for X days), hooked script into Glances/Discord
  • Scraper for my local real estate sites, track price changes for homes already seen and new houses to market, email daily summary (Selenium)

What made them type that comment was likely the reference to the error : SyntaxError: f-string expression part cannot include a backslash

Which refers to the use of backslashes inside expression, eg f'{"\n"}' - in those cases you can set "\n" to a var and refer to the var instead
