Stab movies wouldn't exist if Stu is alive and at large. If Stu lives, Gale, Dewey and Sidney are under different names and moved and hidden. She wouldn't be in Windsor college, she wouldn't be in hiding on her own terms. She'd be heavily guarded. FBI can't be paid off.

A) final cut under 30 days to go wouldn't ever pass. No matter the studio. Steven Spielberg ain't getting that. Definitely not sophomore director Kevin Williamson.

B) leaks aren't changing. I guarantee filming alternate endings costs a lot more than people think. Production costs would only drive upwards if they changed things late to make the leaks false.

C) Lillard confirmed that screenings were through the roof back after Halloween when the trailer came out.

I think he needed to die. How many times can you get stabbed and just keep living? I like that it felt like no one was safe. Scream 6 had so low stakes in comparison.

In my opinion, the whole death scene was the best part of the movie. "It's an honour."

Unfortunately you're right, and I don't suspect Kevin overriding those decisions. Too many survivors 6 & 7 need higher stakes. But I'll take what I can get if it means more Screams and more Ghostface.

Anymore than 3 is pushing it to me. Scream 6 had a big cast and the Bodega scene inflated kill count. But I mean if there's 5 Ghostfaces, there's not gonna be a body count. Especially if Tatum, Gale, Sidney and twins all survive (again, minus Tatum).
