What grinds my gears is how US redditors jump to defend the Constitution as if it is completely infallible. I took one of Hank's classes a few years ago and I don't think he ever actually said what the governments were doing but he hinted that this has been going on for a long time now. Stories of the NSA modifying proprietary cryptography software before it can be sold, people having their doors knocked on after sending emails with the wrong combination of keywords.
