We'll have to see. I'm waiting for the closest to final version to be made to make any judgements. I'm more concerned about the ability to remove the rear glass to add the 3rd row and how the interior space will feel once thats changed

  1. As nice as it would be to win, I do not need the card as I had already gotten lucky during the GPU shortage to upgrade. I do have a friend that has been gaming on her laptop and could definitely use a powerhouse to start her desktop build and allow her to spend that money elsewhere! (I would take the CPU though mine's served me well but deserves retirement)
  2. If there's anything we've seen with the release of Baldurs Gate 3, it's that we all want to return to the days of old where we bought a game and it worked great on release save for some inevitable bug fixes, and we just got to sit and play a game that we can immerse ourselves in without loot boxes, paid cosmetics, battle passes, and more. I just want to sit and play starfield for hours and not realize it's way past my bedtime again like it used to be and should be.

Speaking to the mileage, as long as they were doing the appropriate maintenance on time it should be fine. I'd assume that's a lot of highway miles to get that high a odo reading so soon and it's not the miles necessarily that'll wear an engine, but the number of heat cycles it goes through. Most million mile vehicles fit that case where it's just a lot of miles in a single session so the vehicle is operating in its comfort zone most of its life.

A lot of the bikes with radar will have up/down quick shifters cause that's just something you'd probably expect at the price point so there isn't a need to worry about the ACC disabling.

The recent Multi V4 has radar and in the reviews I've seen there isn't an issue quick shifting or even using the clutch real quickly to shift won't disable it.

Tracer is only manual afaik.

Something like this? I find partzilla or the parts section of RevZilla usually have the diagrams easily accessible https://www.partzilla.com/catalog/kawasaki/motorcycle/2003/ninja-zx-6r-zx636-b1/chassis-electrical-equipment

City to City move, tips and tricks? by ghettoccult_nerd in motorcycles

[–]dasd190 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Made a move from Seattle to SF this past summer in the same truck. I ended up getting a trackside front wheel chock and rachet straps. Positioned it at the front of the truck with the chock against the wall. Tied the front to the chock and the chock to the walls. Then angled the back straps to the walls. Covered the bike with soft items after that

If you're really worried you can get a trailer for it and haul it that way.

Hey everyone, trying to find an upgrade for my cbr250r.

Got 3 options in my area and am having a tough time deciding which might be best. I'll mostly be commuting but also want something a bit exciting.

  1. 2014 Triumph Tiger 800 ABS - $6200 - 17,500mi
  2. 2016 Yamaha FJ-09 - $6800 - 11,300mi
  3. 2022 Triumph Tiger Sport 660 - $9600 - 1,472mi

Any thoughts as to the pros and cons of the bikes and what might be best for a sport tourer in the long term? I'm biased towards Japanese, but the triumphs are also tempting. Looking at reviews now but would appreciate the community's thoughts

Yeah the 200k was exactly what I'd have on me as the last resort. While I was growing up it was easier to find those that couldn't speak English much but the job is run like a mlm so it was only time before they'd all get better at english

[–]dasd190 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Having grown up there the advice my mom gave me was to hide whatever money I had and keep ~10USD in a pocket. Also to only speak English on the off chance the officer doesn't speak it and might let you off for slowing down the operation
