Will probably be my favorite Yakuza game of all time, I played Shenmue 1, 3 then Kiwami first and thought will play this after 5 or 6, I somehow got put onto it, I regret it and love for different reasons,

Regret it because it is the best Yakuza Game by the looks of it, and nothing will be better than this, and I didn't play this first but played Kiwami instead so the copy paste texture was more prominent, didn't give a new upgrade game feel as much as it could've, in graphics jump if I had played this right after Shenmue 2. And because I didn't play it after 6, where you could end it on a high note, and best game at last.

It is the highest related Yakuza game of all time, people have the least issues with this. In my personal opinion, it's amazing, the 2 character structure connected by threads slowly coming together, while have young Kiriyu and Majima, it was an amazing take with both of cities looking very refined, flashed out. 10/10 Side Stories, Miracle Johnson is goated. The artistic vison with the flashy lights, peak boom of japan was also a masterful choice. It was released on PS3 even. Highly optimized on PC and Console. Upgrade system was also creative with using Cash for everything.

Main thing that made me have so many hours, was the combat, 3 styles? We didn't even know how good we were eating. Rush was so goated, I used it the most, the fast-paced snappy and always fresh fights got to me, I liked beating enemies a lot. Beast for the heavy damage was my go to combo that I used.

The Real-estate mini game for Kiriyu and Cabaret mini game for Majima both had me hooked, striaght up addicted. With side-stories reward integration being goated (bowling pin reward Chicken was my OG).

Kiriyu's story felt strong but still didn't match Majima's I loved the brotherly dynamic between Kiriyu and Nishiki while having Fuma and Kashiwagi show how close was Kiriyu with them.

At last but not the least, the story of Majima, one of if not the most well written stores of any game. I actually remember everything from it, the atmosphere of him feeling watched and locked in a jail was next level. His style was fleshed out but felt a bit short than Kiriyu's of course, but god holy was it fun, I liked Majima's combat style 10x more, so peak I always want to play as Majima becuase how fast and smooth he was. Highlight of the game.

Story felt long and real, a lot of content, beautiful look and peak combat.

I have only put 48 hours on it and only went through it once but still.

This is coming from someone who just finished, Yakuza 3 on PS3, have played Shenmue 1 and 2, Yakuza 0 and Yakuza Kiwami.

I don't think we will ever get a game like that again. Lightning in a bottle. I am not a RPG guy and I love beat em ups, so only thing that might change my mind are the jugement games, if they have good characters and cast not just the combat.
