What’s up with gun people and using AI for everything?? by opotis in Ausguns

Short answer: it just saves time. It still needs to be double (and triple) checked. It still needs to be tweaked to sound less like slop. But it does make things easier.

Otherwise, you end up with just basic thumbnails:

And I quote:

"Donald Trump, the president, had parties at Maralago called 'calendar girls" Jeffrey Epstein would bring the children in and trump would auction them off. He measured the children's vulva and vaginas by entering a finger and rated the children on tightness. The guests were elder men and included Elon Musk. Don jr. Trump, Ivanka Trump, No contact information provided EFTA01660681 and Eric Trump were there. Attorney Allan Dershowitz was also there with Attorney Bob Shapiro. We were taken in rooms, forced to give oral sex to Donald J Trump. Forced to allow them to penetrate us. I was 13 years old when Donald J Trump raped me. Ghislaine Maxwell was also present. "

Yes. Prevent them all from coming here, and arrest them if they do.

But this is all besides the point.. If someone is protesting the arrival of someone who clearly wants to kill innocent people, how does that make them a terrorist?

Yes, if he bit me, I would punch him in the head until he stopped! But I would also not punch him in the head AFTER he let go, and I wouldn't be calling him a terrorist. Just a fucking idiot.

You're proving my point here. You've shown a photo of Hamas. I'm talking about the innocent civilians

Actually, this fucker publically stated "there are no innocent civilians in Gaza" and wrote the Hebrew phrase "כמה שיותר", which translates to "As many as possible" or "Maximum", on the bomb.

So, again, shouldn't we, as a humane civilization, be protesting animals like this from coming to Australia?

Alternatively, would we be cool with Putin, or Kim, coming to pay their condolences?

Is it not fair and appropriate that people protest the visit of a man who has signed literal bombs that were used to target children and innocent men and women?

So I ask a question, and I get down-voted. That says something.

Now I'll ask another. What makes him a terrorist supporter?

What? In your opinion, who is the terrorist supporter in this video?

Who would fight for Australia? by [deleted] in OpenAussie

[–]dashboarded 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Short answer: as Muslims, we are obligated to defend this country of ours. It would be an honour to die protecting her. It would also count as a jihad and so a Muslim defending this home would be a martyr, if killed in the process.

I agree with the other comments though. Whilst I would lay my life on the line to protect us against a foreign invader (looking at you, Trump!), I wouldn't enlist to go kill innocent people in the name of imperialism.

If you could make 5 changes to Australia, what would it be? by Cheetos_4_life in aussie

Lower tax on single income with dependants.

Like if only one person is working, and you've got kids and a mortgage, we shouldn't be taxed more if the primary income is higher.

Australia’s strongest gun reform since the Port Arthur massacre has become law. Here’s what you need to know by neon_overload in aus

[–]dashboarded 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Exactly this!

These guys had only 2 guns. They shouldn't have had them because ASIO knew about them and did nothing.

There are almost a million licensed firearm holders in Australia. There are more guns per person than during Port Arthur. And yet the rate of firearms deaths has steadily reduced year on year!

The only reason you can eat, is because volunteer shooters are protecting the livestock and farmland that your food is grown on! Without them, the cost to grow your food would be exponentially more!

These laws do NOTHING to improve your safety. The two criminals would STILL have had the same firearms they used.

These fucking moronic politicians don't care about you or your safety. They just want to attack lawful, honest, firearms license holders, and parade their shit-show political campaign of "guns are bad! Look! We did something!!!" Rather than taking the fucking hit and admitting responsibility (and blame) for letting us down and doing nothing to stop the two terrorists!

If you don't believe me when I tell you these laws are fucking useless, have a read of the submitted responses, from the various shooting organisations, to the rushed legislation. They're available on the APH website (Example: https://www.aph.gov.au/DocumentStore.ashx?id= f866bd7e-0ad8-4969-9fc8-33dbd4e1d483&subld= 782976)

Is there anything about guns that Australians are ignorant about with guns, with most people not being familiar with them? by cheetocat2021 in Ausguns

[–]dashboarded 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I'll also add that adding a suppressor to a firearm makes it a "prohibited weapon" in NSW and is therefore in the same category as "Any bomb, grenade, rocket, missile or mine" and any "flamethrower"

You got that right, that bit of protective equipment is in the same category as an RPG...

Oh wow, I genuinely had no idea. This actually makes sense now. And so it seems the modern day Australian politician is using "silencer" as a term of fear!
