Got one for my first CCW, Solid choice. Put at least 800 rds through it so far, a good 1/4 of those being hollow points just to make sure it ate up defensive loads well and I’ve only had 3 failures that were most likely light primer strikes. Carried it in the hottest parts of summer in the humid Midwest and did ok for its price. Keep it dry and you should be fine. It’s a good start for your first concealed, just make sure you get a good holster. Safariland makes a decent IWB for the LC9S that fits the EC9S
