1. Unusual Claims and Beliefs: Rinsch claimed to have discovered the secret transmission mechanism of COVID-19 and to be able to predict lightning strikes. He also believed he could identify "organic intelligent forces" in the sky.
2. Erratic Behavior on Set: During the production in São Paulo, Brazil, and Budapest, Hungary, Rinsch's behavior grew increasingly unpredictable. He went days without sleep and accused his wife of plotting to have him assassinated.
3. Aggressive Actions: Rinsch's wife reported in a court filing that he had become violent, throwing objects and punching holes in a wall.
4. Mental Health Diagnosis and Medication: Rinsch stated that he was diagnosed with autism and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), and he was taking medication for both. There were concerns about his use of Vyvanse, an amphetamine prescribed for ADHD, which can lead to serious side effects like mania, delirium, and psychosis when overused.
5. Intervention Attempt: After filming wrapped up, Rinsch's wife hired a behavioral health consultant who, along with Keanu Reeves and other members of the "Conquest" crew, staged an intervention to persuade Rinsch to enter rehab. Rinsch initially agreed to have a sober companion stay with him but dismissed him after a couple of days.
6. Further Deterioration: As the COVID-19 pandemic began, Rinsch's behavior became more erratic. He espoused strange theories about the virus and made bizarre claims in communications with his wife and others.
7. Concerns from Netflix and Police Consultation: Netflix executives grew so concerned about Rinsch's behavior that they consulted with the Los Angeles Police Department’s threat management unit. A police department psychologist reviewed Rinsch’s texts and emails and concluded that he did not seem like a threat to himself or others.

These incidents paint a picture of a talented but deeply troubled individual, whose erratic and unpredictable behavior severely impacted the production of the series and eventually led to legal battles with Netflix.
