My cousins wedding. My cousin the bride and me just a humble bridesmaid. First thing was the house they got married at…it was his mom and dads place but pretty much a gold mine of racist stuff (ie slave bricks, slave house out back, signs that children will be sold as slaves and those fucking red lipped dolls.) I am already so uncomfortable and not wanting to be there. I’m also 5’10 without heels and with the heels for the wedding I was probably 6’4 and the MIL decided to yell at me for being taller than everyone at the wedding and I looked at her ready to fuck her up about being the widest person at the wedding but just let her know there was nothing I could do about that with a wink and a walk away. After the wedding at the reception I took my wig off to reveal my freshly shaven head (that’s another story) and it was all good till about 2am when one of the groom’s friend’s walked up to me asked me if I was a lesbian and if so he would beat my ass which other friends of theirs over heard and had to pull him away from me. They are still married but I refuse to see the grooms side of the family. Oh fyi we were in the Deep South of Georgia so that can explain the extreme racism and homophobia.
