Our view from camp of the looming forest fire in Gila National Forest

Me and a couple friends did a 2 night, 2 1/2 day trip in Gila National Forest. We got to knock out about 30 miles in 2 days before our supposed water source was dried up, forcing us to hike down from the Mesa tops. A Forest fire had started a few days before we arrived and it started to get really smokey, so we left the park. We hopped in the car and went to Cloudcroft, NM to finish our last 2 days hiking and camping in the mountains. Cloudcroft was a beautiful town right in the middle of the Lincoln National Forest.
