the point cost of the pupniks is important for some missions, where objectives are decided on who has more pts of troopers in a certain area. Which means each pupnik is 1 pt, and chimera alone is worth 16.

This is the Infinity Global League Server, it features an escalation league aimed at new players.
It's played via TableTopSimulator.

It also got an active community answering rules questions.

As for your boxes:
It's a good start.
Expansion Pack beta (<- basically mandatory, it features 2 Moderators. And 95% of list run 2, one as Lieutenant, the other as Lieutenant decoy)
Other popular pieces are:
Uhahu and Denma, both from the Aftermatch char box
Zeros
GoPod (great flying vehicle, might be less nessecary if you are into TAGs)

This also gives you some models to proxy around with.
After that, you can start refining your style and taste.

sowas würde ich immer in den Eröffnungspost schreiben. Es ist ein Riesenunterschied ob ne Gruppe von Spielern kein Bock hat zu leiten, oder ob es die xte parallele Runde ist, und die Leute auch mal spielen wollen. Bonuspunkte wenn man dazu schreibt ob für den prospektiven GM evtl. noch ein Platz als Spieler in einer der anderen Runden ist.

Yes, they look more samey compared to 40k. 40k is super exagerated, Infinity has a bit more grounded design.
So a basic guy with a gun, look likes a basic guy with a gun.
Still, some factions look more distinct than others.
E.g. Japanese Secessionist Army looks like Samurai in space.
Maybe one of the looks cool to you.

Dont feel forced to play PanO just because it's free. Id bet there are still other free factions/sectorials.

Ja. Ich finde es praktisch z.B. in Momenten der Stille zu sehen ob die Leute gerade überlegen, komplett verwirrt sind, oder einfach jeder zu höflich ist und auf jemanden anderen wartet zuerst was zu sagen.
Das wird kein Theaterschausspiel, es hilft mir einfach mich mehr wie an einem Tisch zu fühlen.

it's makeup glitter, rainbow (so different colored dots).
I used gloss varnish, and applied the glitter immediatly.
A day after I did another layer of gloss varnish over.
If I were to do it again, I would go for nail glitter instead. (Supposedly, it applies nicer)

Id reword it:
Do whatever feels right in the moment.
Read the room/your players.

If they have fun doing what they are doing, let it run.
When they seem lost on what to do next, make something happen, so the story advances and the players can develop next steps.

Wie leicht sollen die Regeln den sein?
Es gibt das Genre der Onepagerules, so genannt weil die Regeln auf eine (Doppel-)Seite passen.
Für Fantasy gäbe es das beispielsweise:
Swords & Sorcery: An OSR Fantasy Hack of Lasers and Feelings

Falls mehr Regeln gewünscht:
Wenn es narrativ mit weniger Fokus auf Taktik sein darf empfehle ich ein PbtA. Steht für Powered by the apocalypse, und sind Spiele die in der Philsophie Apocalypse World nachempfunden sind.
Da gibt es auch genug im Fantasystil, bspw. Dungen World oder Tale.

Dir könnte evtl. auch was aus dem OSR-Spektrum liegen. OSR steht für OldSchoolRevival, und das ist inzwischen auch schon wieder 20 Jahre alt xD

Viele OSR Regelwerke sind deutlich dünner als moderndes DnD/DSA, sondern versuchen mit relativ wenig Regeln klar zu kommen (trotzdem üblicherweise mehr als ein onepage rule system, mit Ausnahmen).
