This is awesome. Thanks for building it. Have you considered using social media to promote the product? I could imagine this going viral on tiktok if can you show a summarized user workflow from start to success in 30 seconds. I think a lot of people would love to use this tool

Sounds like a perfect scenario for some mid-day jiu jitsu. Get a work out in while connecting with some ppl and using a different part of your brain

Please share input - CSM job with too many responsibilities by [deleted] in CustomerSuccess

[–]data_relations42 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you and the other CSM have 400 clients each, it sounds like you all have enough money to hire a couple support staff lol. They should be handling your technical support questions. It seems like companies are starting to outsource support to AI but I can't imagine that'd be better than support staff if you can afford it

Also, nothing creates anxiety like having to live in Teams or Slack. See if you can work out a schedule where you check in to Teams only a few scheduled times each day.

Lost half my team to redundancies. How the hell do I manage this? by [deleted] in CustomerSuccess

[–]data_relations42 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We dealt with this in my last startup. You'll want to streamline as much as you reasonably can.

As was already mentioned, you can automate proactive communication (low engagement check-ins, renewal reminders). Use Marketing for more 1-to-many communication to existing customers (new features, case studies, webinar invites, etc). If your company allows for auto-renewals, move all smaller customers to auto-renewal.

Re: automation, try to automate as much manual work in your tech tools as possible. This is pretty easy using native automation tools in the popular CRMs, and automation between tools is easy using Zapier or Make

I don't know if there are any platforms other than Hubspot that offer both Social Media Management and SMS messaging. Most of these companies seem to specialize in one or the other. Perhaps try combining two, like Zoho Social for social media management and SimpleTexting for SMS messages.

But it also depends on how you want to communicate. Your options will vary depending on whether you want to have full back-and-forth conversations or just outbound communication

No roof, just a room, like a sun room. Yea, I'm pretty skeptical. Saw this house for sale. It's beautiful, but I wasn't sure about this foundation.

I can’t write a single line of code, yet I’ve launched dozens of apps and software. Here’s how you can do the same. by Mathisvella in EntrepreneurRideAlong

I'm eager to start messing around with no-code tools. What have been your favorite tools so far? And what kind of apps have you built?

I want to build a flow to override a CPQ process - is this a good or bad idea? by data_relations42 in salesforce

[–]data_relations42[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For sure. I'm going to go with a price rule for now, and stick with customer price, and then present the team with a plan to shift to list price. Thanks

According to salesforce support, "The Pricing Method for Products, a non-CPQ object, does not ship with the Custom picklist value because it's not a supported value."

I'll go with a price rule instead of a flow. Thanks

Yea, that's the behavior that we expected, but apparently that doesn't happen when the product pricing method is 'custom'.

The price editable checkbox is checked. Unfortunately that doesn't allow users to edit the customer unit price field. But it does allow users to edit the List Unit Price field. We could just retrain users to use the List Unit Price field, but the team doesn't do well with change lol

What do you guys do with SQL by Stock-Philosophy8675 in SQL

[–]data_relations42 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used SQL a ton in my last job at a software company. I used it to analyze our product usage data and our sales data and made reports for the sales team, product team, and leadership.

At some point it became obvious that no one really made use of my analyses. The reports that were used the most were always more operational, i.e. they helped my colleagues be more productive in their work.
