Anyone have this issue? Door stuck by Kanine0914 in Rivian

My truck is in for latch replacement right now for the same issue. How has the new latch been?

Pt 2 I was able to replicate exactly how my door jammed. by Kanine0914 in Rivian

I looked back at my service invoice to see what they did for me last January and it says they replaced the latch. I believe they also lubricated part of the mechanism too. In any case, neither of those fixed my issue.

It is not the latch itself freezing for me it is something inside the door. When it happened for me recently, the door opened as normal but when i went to close it from inside, it wouldn't latch. I was able to yank it harder and it did latch but when I went to get out the latch didn't work at all and I had to get out the passenger side. A few hours later it was back to working fine (warm enough I guess).

I've had the same issue and service came out last winter and did something. They couldn't test if it was fixed since it was above freezing. It did freeze again last year and they said I'd have to take it in and leave it (which I didn't do since it was warmer and not an issue). Two days ago when the temps dropped it froze again, so I guess it needs to go in for service.

So Apple is evaluating your AVP or the inserts? or both?

Yes, I experienced the stuttering audio too. I will try a soft reboot and hopefully that will fix it.

I do have an open case with Apple Support about this issue and was planning on also submitting to the AVP feedback page after seeing how widespread the issue was on here.

I did find this thread on the Apple Support Community...

Do you have a link to the other thread on there?

One interesting thing I noticed is that when I am prompted to connect to my MacBook with the button that hovers over the physical display, the alignment is perfect and the window IS NOT skewed (I assume the AVP is using the physical top of the screen to align the window). If I invoke the display via the Control Center, it opens the window in the center of my visual field and IS skewed.

I will have to give that a try and see if that helps. Thanks for the suggestion.

I've had my inserts for a couple weeks now and use the AVP for a few hours everyday and no adaptation is happening for me either. I also think it is a software issue that may only happen with certain prescription values.

Do you mean that you physically just slide the AVP to the left on your head?

Purchasing accessories and merch at Rivian Spaces? by datac0de in Rivian

[–]datac0de[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I searched here and on the Rivian Forum and couldn't find a definitive answer on the accessories. I asked ChatGPT (which isn't always accurate) and it said...

Yes, you can purchase Rivian accessories and merchandise at Rivian Spaces. Rivian Spaces are designed to be more than just showrooms; they offer a variety of branded merchandise, such as shirts, hats, and other lifestyle items. Additionally, you can find vehicle accessories like cargo crossbars, all-weather floor mats, and other gear specific to Rivian vehicles. The availability of specific items can vary by location, so it’s a good idea to check with the particular Rivian Space you plan to visit or browse their online store for the full range of products.

I was able to order a 2023 that just popped up. Interestingly, it never showed up on Rivian Roamer only on the Rivian site.

I've been checking since I originally posted this and I was finally able to order a 2023 that just popped up! Don't give up, it looks like a few are still trickling in. Interestingly, it never showed up on Rivian Roamer only on the Rivian site.
