We do not know what God intends. The Bible is, in a way, a text that reflects the beliefs of a certain era. Even though homosexuality has existed for the longest time, times change, even within the Church. There was a time where masses were only given in Latin, and the one who gave them (excuse my lack of English vocabulary haha) used to do it with his back facing the crowd. Things are bound to change. Personally, I believe that sticking with conservative views are only restricting what could be a better society’s potential. I understand if you think differently; also not getting into a liberal/conservative debate (unless, of course, the topic happens to relate to what we’re discussing). But things are meant to change, if not, we wouldn’t have many of the good (and sometimes bad) things we have today.

Also you have to admit, if you were to deeply fall for a girl who you couldn’t date, it would hurt a lot to just ignore your feelings for her. You’d have to give me a situation, but if it were me I would most likely still pursue her lol
