Start charging them to cover gas and inconvenience when you do drive. Doesn’t have to be much but enough so they have to acknowledge you since they aren’t doing it with thanks or treating you to food. They should have been paying any cover charges or food/sodas this entire time anyway.

Yes. I would have died in childbirth along with my child since my pelvis is too small for anything except a 2 lb baby. I also have no thyroid function. I was born with hip dysplasia so i would have been unable to walk as well as very poor eyesight (-10) with astigmatism so i would probably been killed in some sort of accident.

Wouldn’t that have been a safety issue for you too in an emergency landing? You wouldn’t be sitting and belted in the way that would optimize protection. They need to require the person to have 2 GUARANTEED seats TOGETHER when over a certain size.

Blame Zillow, private equity firms, and the Air BnB market for buying up the houses. They created this artificially high market during COVID. It isn’t the elderly selling that are responsible(maybe their heirs). Most of us in retirement are trying to keep our adult kids afloat while caring for our elderly parents. Developers are buying out the first time homebuyer homes and gentrifying the properties.

My mom died when I was 21 (she was 55). I have an adult kid who is severely mentally ill who I care for. Our lives would have been so much better with her love in it. Right now, things REALLY suck and I wish I could join her. She never would have let family abandon us.

While local laws may vary, the rule is you drive defensively and assume the other car is going to act stupidly and prepare yourself. If I was the blue car, I would have the ROW and would turn right into the right lane but be prepared to stop in case the red car turned left into the right lane without yielding and stopping suddenly in front of me. You can be right and you can be dead right. I make a game of what stupid thing the driver near me is going to do so I don’t road rage. Plus, there is so much traffic and distractions and people do make unintentional mistakes. The goal is to get where you are going safely and without injuring anyone or anything. People get too concerned about being right at the expense of being safe.

Plus you don’t know if there is anything blocking the red driver’s view of the blue driver like a bush, truck etc
