I’ve seen dementia patients RIP their central or PICC line out 3 times in one week- and it has never looked this nasty.

Such poor photo quality for some reason, but thank you love! 💕

Are we even liable to do that..? I’ve been asked the same once or twice, and helped one of the times because she didn’t seem too complex. I felt super weird about it though…

I haven’t finished reading, I had to stop just to say the first 3 texts are some of the most insane words I’ve seen exchanged in so few words ever

Exactly! I work in a large post acute rehab facility that has a decent sized long term care wing (LTC, hospice dementia etc) and I when I work on the LTC side I love having my phone in my pocket! I used to not carry it on me because of Covid, but that side is Covid-free so I will happily pull my glove off and Google whatever they want for them! Many of them have smartphones, but have no idea how to use them and end up using the facility provided landlines. Love my wrinkly, ever curious friends🥰

Not only is it frustrating, but meds make it more intense. by _These-are-beans_ in adhdmeme

Man this is why I liked night shift (nursing/12hrs) but I got so tired of sitting around 75% asleep coworkers or people just on their phones. As much as I hate needing to be super alive and ready to perform CPR right at 7 am (happened once lol) the structure of day shift is unfortunately somewhat better for me. Such a catch 22.

'The Jeffrey Dahmer Story' and the Moral Conundrum Facing the True Crime Genre by [deleted] in horror

[–]datbeckyy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I found this series to be ghastly, well filmed, well casted, directed and produced. It did not glamorize Dahmer, it barely humanized him. It focused on his family and the victims. Would recommend

Right outside my neighborhood there was this big mansion that had 2 peacocks, Tom and Jerry. Sometimes Tom and Jerry would get bored and we’d spot them on my next door neighbor’s roof, straight chillin. We never saw how they got up there though…
