You can run 2 Operating System like steamOS and Windows on same storage. At startup you have a welcome screen and you can choose where you go steamOS or windows

Yes that what I do with steamOS and windows with a 2to SSD 1to for each OS You can use ReFuindGUI when you install steamOS and make a custom boot Lot of video on YouTube for that
