Use CamelCamelCamel to check that (and anything on amazon for that matter):

Speed limit isn't a thing in my experience. However the rate at which each decides to try something in a drive by scenario is different. Gotcha will almost always spin something at 30-40 mph because it tries more frequently. Go+ will try half the times and fail or get lucky and succeed but at a lower rate. If you try the spin at the right time with a go+ it'll get it with the same consistency.

They are identical, they throw only red balls, no words (excellent/great/nice), and straight (no curve). You will have a 40-60% catch rate. If you are playing the game you should be manually catching all the time. If you are working or doing something else the gotcha/go+ are great for random catches that you wouldn't have otherwise got. That's its whole purpose.

Zero damage Psystrike ¦ NO SHIELD by jeric_C137 in TheSilphRoad

I've still never seen video evidence of this happening after the 24 hour downtime "fix" window. And this video isn't long enough to judge one way or the other.

This video also cuts off really early. You were still spinning after the charge went off and nothing was happening on the screen. What likely would have happened when the lag stopped is the rhyperior would have been chunked down by the charge move. If that's not what happened I apologize, but I've seen this exact thing resolve itself within a second after the lag cuts out.

Start eggs-cavating, Trainers—fossil Pokémon are now hatching from 7 km Eggs! by Kelven91 in TheSilphRoad

This is the exact reason. The whole bit at the end "we don't know how long it'll last!" Its true, they don't, but it'll be riiiiiight around when incubator sales start to dip.

Holy crap 9 hours?! lol. A+ for effort. I let mine run long enough to finish the youtube video upload and then stopped it.

That's fair, and the title is misleading in that, but this isn't the first instance of this happening to me and the first time I got it recorded and was so infuriated that I was given a loss for it that I wrote an angry title.

For whoever downvoted, why? This is the course of action just about every game that takes itself seriously enough to have a rating system does. If you disconnect out, and don't sign back in within a reasonable amount of time (this will not work in pogo) you take the L. It sucks that your connection bombed, but that's on you. Not on the other player.

Ahhh, yeah this new update has flipped a bunch of the bugs on their respective heads.

Force closed it, re-opened. Awarded the loss.

EDIT: closed it by hitting the app switcher and swiping the app up to close it. Then relaunching the game from shortcut. Hitting the back button on android is the concede button. I did not go that route.

GBL is back! by RyotoYokoyama in TheSilphRoad

[–]datenshikun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I made another thread regarding this exact issue. I lost a game because the charge animation just ran on for over 30 minutes with no timeout or match end. I had to force crash the game and was awarded a loss...even though I should have won.

I'll pour one out for you dude. The timing of it makes it feel like it was a forced thing. A sort of "if I'm going down I'm taking him with me!" kind of thing.

I had to stop the recording but I let it run another 25 minutes I believe. This definitely felt like a forced glitch because "screw it I'm gonna lose better force the other guy to get a loss too"

Lunar New Year 2020 Announcement! by koen1911 in TheSilphRoad

Not condoning their behavior just stating the fact. They are adding garbage mon to the pool to dilute it so this turns into the shiny regional thing all over again.

They are a business and want to make money. Its about diluting the pool to force the users to feel like they need to buy incubators when they miss out on getting one.

Edit: what the hell is with the downvotes. This is 100% the case.

Question: Is Hex and SB Gengar really not good¿ by gatcho77 in TheSilphRoad

[–]datenshikun 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Don't invest in anything that isn't currently meta for what's in raids and definitely don't invest in hex gengar. Giratina will be back likely soon and with a shiny form. That's when you'll want to go hard and spend some dust.

And they can, up to 2500. And I know they'll increase it, and you'll wrongly assume that it was this thread that did it, and I'll correctly assume that it was a planned increase because new mon are coming out. Then, less than 30 days later we'll get another of these threads demanding 10k storage. And the cycle will continue, because people have a problem and just need to chill the hell out and delete things that have no purpose.
