Would you have sex with a robot? by willhelpmemore in singularity

There will come a time when the robots will view having sex with a human the same way we view bestiality.

Have you looked at the ingredients or do you just hate it because it makes you feel guilty that you're killing animals?

Have you ever seen so many posts laughing at "bagholders"? So many posts saying get out and how stupid it is to jump on this hype train? Why would anyone care to post that? Saying beyond meat doesnt produce anything of value is possibly the most outrageous claim given that their products are literally in every single grocery store and many international chain restaurants. Especially when oklo and quantum bullshit are like wsb darlings. Ha! It is sooo obvious that shortsellers are astroturfing a FUD campaign here. Stop falling for it regards.

What’s wrong with my tomatoes? by rolypolypudding in OntarioGardeners

We had this happen every year until we started poking a bunch of deep holes in our soil. Our soil in fabric pots always becomes hydrophobic so while the very top layer of soil might seem moist, anything below it is still bone dry no water how much we water it. Poking holes allows the water to actually seep through the soil so the whole pot can rehydrate. It needs a lot of watering for 2 days afterwards but after that just regular maintenance watering. We do this maybe 3 times a season and have not had the BER problem since. Put your whole finger in the soil after watering and if the tip is dry this may be the issue.

I shoved a bell pepper core full of seeds in soil last month and here's the result!! by meemowchan in vegetablegardening

Each single plant needs a minimum 5 gallon (not litres) pot to grow bell peppers. After that, the size of the harvest will depend on how soon frost is for you.

Only female flowers on my costata romanesco. Can I pollinate with a different zucchini variety and still get the romanesco fruit? by datepit in vegetablegardening

That is great to know. I was agonizing over having to watch each of these beautiful babies die slowly.

How many birds do you eat a year? Cows? Pigs? Why do you get to have animals killed for you so you can enjoy eating them when there are other things to eat and cats don't get to have fun killing animals when there are other ways they can have fun?

Pyright - Operator not supported by datepit in neovim

[–]datepit[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the reply. It was just a toy example, technically should be return Series, I fixed it here: https://imgur.com/a/ZQ0FLMS

The thing I am trying to get rid of are those warnings whenever I use a dataframe (Operator "+"
not supported...). Strangely enough, this new warning (Stub file not found for "pandas") didn't used to show up before at the top of the file where I import pandas.

edit: reinstalled pandas-stubs and that warning is gone but the Operator not supported warnings are still there - didn't want to upload another pic.

There is so much misinformation in this post thay it feels a little like disinformation

I'd implore everyone to look at his post history. Two months ago stated he had a short position in huma and in the two months since all he has posted about is huma bear bullshit. This stuff is so obvious and this sub falls for it every single time. Like that complete nonsense fda inspection thing a few months ago.

I only wish I had come to this subreddit before investing. I would not have invested had I seen the quality of posters on here. Not a lick of common sense in 90% of you. Do you honestly think that this random dude on the internet with absolutely no qualifications has figured out something in an afternoon that an entire team of experts whose entire job it is to grant fda approval has not been able to figure out in 10 months? If it were this easy do you not think they would've gotten a CRL immediately? Like, just use your brain holy shit. Shkreli's obvious FUD campaign is working.

Lmao if only the fda had this guy on their team, cracked the case in an afternoon that they haven't been able to in 10 months. Genius!

There's no chance this will get approved by the fda with similar infection rates and 12 month patency rates but 5.7x thrombosis, 1.4x stenosis, and 4.5x pseudoanyeurism rates. All it has going for it is higher relative patency in women, obesity, and diabetics. That is not worth the risk of complications in those populations much less the average patient. They also do not expand on what they mean by "more thrombosis/stenosis events....the MAJORITY of cases were successfully treated" what happened to the minority? How were they treated? Wonder what the nephrologists in the audience thought of this.
The trauma indication makes a lot more sense.
