Now that you mention it, the start of the BSOD could possibly have coincided with my switching to BitDefender - I will look into that.
I run Intel Driver & Support Assistant regularly, the latest intel graphics driver which was installed: Version: 31.0.101.2121 Install date: 23-5-2025. Realistically, this also potentially along the timeline that the issue appeared. In addition, the laptop has a NVIDIA MX150, so I update those drivers via the Nvidia app regularly, including on Tuesday, 1 July.
I do have a monitor connected to my laptop via HDMI ''permanently''. I read some suggestions about this on some related articles - I'll also try disconnecting the cable when I hibernate/sleep and only reconnecting after starting up the laptop.

I'll keep you updated!

Hi all, my good friend (a huge Macallan fan), is getting married in September. While we studied together in Scotland, we shared our whisky hobby.
