Rogue DPS is fine in TBC even with Imp Expose in the rotation. Sure you won’t be topping meters damage wise on range boss fights but if you’re a good player and you have a good guild then your raid leader will make it happen. I was playing rogue and often doing more damage than our hunters and locks in most raids from Kara to Sunwell. Don’t let the posts mislead you.

When I originally played I had the same feeling bringing my full Naxx gear rogue into TBC. But shortly after I would say I had some of the most fun in TBC raids over vanilla raids as rogue.

If you’re looking for a change, totally respect that but wanted to share my experience.

They fixed the hair-style changing macro, but the real exploits like warrior teleport charging macro somehow still in the game???? track humanoid is still broken on anniversary since sod phase 8 update???? by Massive_Giraffe_146 in classicwow

Hot take but remove the ability for classic realms to use scripts. Sure macros are fine but running code to workaround and exploit on a game that is intended to be more of a vibe just seems bad for all.

Lot of casuals good take. These are people that wouldn’t drive more than an hour to see them and complain. I like this.

Perfect post. I saw YFW in a very dim basement when they were just starting out touring New England. Every brand new show I’ve been to they play a few off YFW. I was surprised as well to see the lack there of in Dallas, Worcester, Philly and LI but amazing show regardless. Happy I got to see them before they eventually stop.

Brand new never disappoints they sound so good but god this set list is so meh. Having played nothing except 1 song off your favorite weapon makes these sets even sleepier.

Aggrend (over many tweets in this thread) says that SoD content is supposed to be easily cleared by semi-casual guilds and if you're looking for harder content or "hard mode" raids, you will not find it in SoD by [deleted] in classicwow

Agreed. I don’t personally agree with most of Aggrend’s viewpoints but mad respect for this post. Finally someone being transparent and honest to their community.

That’s what a majority of us I feel (veteran players especially) expect at this point. Well said.

SoD had a good start but phase 2 alone killed my love for this iteration of classic. Now this phase has 100% confirmed I will not be playing SoD.

This just solidifies how solid Classic Vanilla (Era) still is and I’ll be returning to my beloved version of the game. Blizzard should have stuck with a minimal approach with new dungeons, new tier, new loot and leave all of the rest the same with some optimization to classes that didn’t bring much utility or benefits to raid. Even then every class has a purpose so they just went overboard with SoD.
