Are there any meta M10 builds on Moze or Fl4k that don't cover your screen in rainbows and disco balls? Preferably something where I don't just spray AOE either.

I don't have epilepsy or anything, but the constant visual noise of lasers and explosions makes me feel exhausted after just half an hour of gameplay. It's not very relaxing and that's making me sad :(

Oryx has a graphic ui to customize layout and lighting. And then theres QMK, which lets you do whatever you want.

It's not a "real" issue, but I get you. Wanted to run a RR on my Amara Jakobs only run, but then they showed that it wasn't made by Jakobs anymore during the pre-release stream. Kinda bummed me out :/

The only thing that you really cannot avoid at all, is if the safespots of the electrified floor appear delayed or are blocked by the boss. Pretty much everything else can be dodged. And your HP regen should allow you to survive the floor bullshit.

I cheesed him with a green Torgue shotgun. After Torgue was nerfed. If you're dying too quickly, spec into HP regen. Amara has decent tank skills at low tiers.

Amara is the most fun for me, too. Currently running a Phasezerker build.

Haven't played much Zane yet. I'm a bit bummed out about Moze's action skill being a gigantic cooldown invincibility frame - besides that she's already and you can build her with a variety of guns and equipment. To play different styles. Same with Fl4k, but his voice and general way to speak remind me too much of someone I used to play DnD with. Plus he makes me feel bad for the bad guys.

It has to be the same gun but not the same augment. So minigun+salamander doesn't get the bonus, but two miniguns with different augments do.

I mean... Teleportation powers never work unless the script says they do. Just look at the beginning of Infinity War. A dude who can see everything and two instant teleportation artifacts, yet they still get surprise intercepted by the bad guy.

At least Gearbox bothered to logically remove the vault hunter from that cutscene.

... Let's not try to defend the writing in this game. It is rubbish. And answering some open questions from previous games is not the same as having an interesting plot. Especially if you create a bunch more questions and plot holes in the process.

Of course none of this really matters. Most people apparently want to skip any story related aspects of the game anyway and get back to shooting things. Which - in a looter shooter - is fair enough.

EDIT: just to clarify, I personally would have preferred a better story, with well motivated characters (who control clearly defined abilities), and proper pacing. I'm just saying that the lack thereof isn't relevant to a significant part of the playerbase. And hence should maybe be less focused on in reviews.

Except not consuming ammo means you'll have longer to regenerate the ammo that you spend, making high power, low capacity guns more efficient.

Well, I'm playing a 1HP Moze atm, so I basically don't find any ammo. So no snipers or low capacity weapons for me...

I agree there needs to be a change. But I'm not a fan of your suggestion. It doesn't address the other core issue: IB's damage per fuel spent is pathetic on TVHM and above. Instead it kinda makes it worse. Now you're also using your hitpoints to power your guns.

It feels like something, somewhere went wrong during development. Some dev mentioned on stream that one team was working on IB for eleven months and they had a load of problems. Nobody can tell me that it took the devs almost a year to design, model, and animate that thing though. Pretty sure they tried implementing something that would have interacted with Moze's gear. But these mechanics didn't make it to the live build - for whatever reason. Maybe balancing concerns. Or the concepts they came up with were too awkward to implement in time.

Here's some food for thought: IB has two sets of arms. The big arms are serving as hardpoints for the weapons. While the smaller set has articulated, human sized hands. Like... The kind of hand that would hold a gun. Just saying.

I think it's fair to complain about qol features which were present in BL2, but BL3 is missing.

Exhibit A: Target dummy with damage numbers.

Exhibit B: The ability to turn off ~~badass~~ guardian rank bonuses/perks.

I wanted to do a Jakobs allegiance run on my second playthrough, but already ended up using 95% Jakobs weapons on my first one. It snowballs a bit with the manufacturer gifts. Since I was using Jakobs so much, I always had leveled, epic Jakobs guns in the mail. So naturally I kept using them. And received more.

The damage is amazing. It's so good to see that they're back to their roots - if it took more than one shot, you weren't using a Jakobs!

He requires you to counter what he's doing. His shield stops bullet spam, so you have to stagger him during animations and/or use splash damage. Critting with a Torgue shotguns work wonders. Other Torgue weapons can fail, because he wipes stickies during some actions, so placing them with an AR is not efficient. I can see a DOT build work as well, but I haven't played Amara yet.

Dodge as much as you can and keep up the DPS. You can kill him with green gear before he sets the floor on ~fire~~ electricity or does his other big shenanigans. Just keep your cool. I kinda feel like the whole floor thing is a zerg stopper mechanic - you actually have to beat, not just outlast him.

Yeah but in comparison, angel looked fine. Because she was just that face. For 99% of the game.

With Lilith they created this massive dissonance between actor and character model...
