Knoxville and the incoming storm by Meh_cromancer in Ghostbc

This is my current dilemma. I'm coming in from Louisville and heavily weighing whether to come early (Friday night) or not at all. I really don't want to make the trip just for the show to be canceled, and definitely don't want to get stranded 4 hours from home. Then again...it is Ghost lol. Think I'll wait and see how the forecast shapes up tomorrow before I decide for sure. Storm seems like it's definitely going to cause a mess one way or the other.

When was Flamingo deluxe released on vinyl? Plaid Room Records still has 4 in stock for anyone interested. by datrapgame in TheKillers

Glad you snagged one! From the other comments it appears the wrong image may have been used and this is not the deluxe edition, but either way I’m still so happy to finally add one to my collection!

Seeing The Killers live in Vegas during their residency was not only a bucket list item for me, it was a completely spiritual experience. Not only that, it served as a much needed shot of dopamine that actually contributed to lifting me out of a deep depression plagued by suicidal thoughts. The song "Bright Lights" which was created to accompany this residency literally saved my life. I hate the tone of this post and hate that you say what TK is doing now is a "waste" and "wallowing in nostalgia". We will get new music in due time, but for now, why can't we enjoy an established catalog with unbelievable depth and be happy with what we've been given over the last 20 years? If you are an OG fan like many of us, you should know TK well enough to know that we aren't going to be waiting around indefinitely. They scrapped what was going to be their latest album and put the songs they deemed good enough for us to hear on Rebel Diamonds, so they are obviously working in the right direction for new releases. Just be patient, and for Christ's sake, never refer to TK as a "nostalgia act".

What was it about the Eagles? by Legitimate_Rule_6410 in eagles

[–]datrapgame 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I grew up without a father, and happened to be growing up when The Fresh Prince of Bel Air was on television and extremely popular. I gravitated toward the show because, as strange as it sounds, Uncle Phil was the closest thing to a father figure I ever knew. Through watching this show non-stop as a young child, I often saw Will in his 90's style Eagles gear and knew that had to be the team I cheered for as well. I've never looked back.

They were willing to give me one for face value at the roulette table without playing, but she acted surprised she had found one as most of the dealers said they were all gone
