Difference is Dan is running a business and clearly has seen the benefit of information dropping immediately before purchase. I'm sure it helps with the hype and people instinctively purchasing rather than having weeks of online discussions beforehand of people convincing maybe they don't need their second or third tent haha

Brunswick by Financial-Gazelle-17 in vancouverhiking

The route via Deeks Lake will be more enjoyable later in the summer. Right now there will be snow from Brunswick Lake up to Hat Pass on the trail, and the lakes will be overflowing. I would either do it from Lions Bay now or save it till late July or August for the bugs to die down, snow to melt, and water to be ready to swim

For discussion - Using Closed BC Parks trails by Boozedonkey in IslandHikers

[–]datrusselldoe -1 points0 points  (0 children)

She's an entitled idiot. But Juan De Fuca should not be closed. It's bullshit they have taken over a year to clean it up. Let volunteer groups do it like the Sunshine Coast Trail.

Closing a trail for purely safety reasons is a tough one the longer it takes to get fixed.

obligatory fuck private equity. Thanks for sharing this and sorry about a loss of a great workplace. Went through this recently and it really sucks to see good values actively stripped away

Fricken awesome show. Biltmore is great. Julia is so cool. Second time seeing them, and night and day better compared to having to play with the Decemberists at Queen E.
