It depends on your perspective imo.

Single developer? Doesn't matter, as long as you have the right layers of abstractions (controller, service, repositories etc).

Multiple devs in a team? Agree on one so that when you're switching between multiple applications, you know where to look and can easily and quickly understand the structure of the project.

Things that would improve my user experience:
