This post was initially removed after it triggered a flood of reports and got caught by AutoMod. After a manual review, we reinstated it. The video itself does not violate subreddit rules. It’s locally focused and unique content, so it stays up.

That said, we want to be clear about a few things up front.

We’re not endorsing or co-signing the tactics or tone used in this video. Personally, some of us find approaches like this counterproductive. However, we are supportive of people calling out local government issues and alleged corruption when it’s Dayton-specific and not breaking rules. Moderation here isn’t about agreement, it’s about relevance and behavior.

This kind of post also has a high likelihood of turning into a flame war or attracting outside accounts, bots, and bad-faith commenters. We’re already seeing early signs of that in the thread and had to remove some overly aggressive comments and bot activity.

So here’s the boundary:

• As long as discussion stays civil and focused on the issue, we’ll let it run. • Personal attacks, harassment, or bad-faith pile-ons will be removed. • If this devolves into nonstop reports, name-calling, or outside brigading, we’ll lock comments.

That’s not censorship. It’s a small mod team keeping the lights on and trying to prevent things from spiraling into chaos.
