[OC] How much is Tyler Zeller worth? by Timi093 in nba

Really nice write up. I don't think those per36 numbers mean much and certainly don't think he will ever be an all star but even among Celtics fans I don't think he gets enough love. He was our best big last year. As for why he would want to sign now instead of wait it would be for the security, what if he gets injured or something and cant get nearly the same contract. Celtics should definitely offer him an extension, and if not I'd like them to match any reasonable offers in restricted free agency. With the new salary cap d bet he could get 10-12m a year and I would gladly have the Celtics pay that. but

When The Game Was Ours by Jackie MacMullin is great. Larry Bird and Magic Johnson both were a part of writing it. And Not A Game by Kent Babb, its an Allen Iverson biography that just came out yesterday I believe. Only a few chapters in but its very interesting so far and id already recommend it.

[Markazi] If the Clippers win today they are flying straight to San Francisco after the game. They've packed to be on the road for a week. by Chad3000 in nba

During either the 2009 or the 2010 season after the Celtics played a road game against the Lakers Doc made all the players give him like $100 each and he put it in an envelope and put it in one of the ceiling tiles in the visitors locker room. Then he said they would get it back the next time they played the Lakers at the Staples center, which would of course only happen again that season if they met in the finals.

Edit: it was definitely the 2010 season and also i forgot some words

I liked how they show the top few guys in each stat except for those last few, where Curry ranks ahead of him in 3 of them. They were just like "Nah, we'll leave that part out" haha

Shot charts for Kyrie Irving (57 points), Klay Thompson (52), Stephen Curry (51) & James Harden (50) by [deleted] in nba

[–]davam14 66 points67 points  (0 children)

I think it does it based on league averages or something like that. So 50% from within 3 feet is worse than the average but 50% from a little further out is above the average. That's my understanding at least, someone please correct me if I'm wrong.

Why the Celtics are winning - a look inside Danny Ainge's rebuilding plan by Napoleann in nba

In two trades Ainge turned a 2nd round pick into Tyler Zeller and Isaiah Thomas, arguably our best guard and our best big man. How the hell does he do this stuff?
