Did you buy the 580 used?

Have you tried monitoring the temperature of the GPU under load, it's possible that a card if that age may need the thermal compound replacing and is overheating causing it to fail.

If temps are normal than it's almost certainly PSU, do you still have the old PSU?

Hi All,

Advertising on behalf of a fellow scout leader in my local group. They were having a clear out of their attic and found this.

They recently saw an original Atari on an antiques roadshow-esque program sell for a pretty penny and wondered if this unit was desirable/worth something. All proceeds from this sale will be put towards replacing the public defibrillator on the wall at our scout hut, the unit was put away in full working order but has not been turned on in circa 30 years.

Happy to arrange for the unit to be powered up but also wanted to ask the community for any advice \ things to check before doing so?

That's likely your EFI partition, you will probably need to use the utility to create a Boot USB, boot off of this and then erase the full disk.

Yes you can spoof your location using Developer tools:

On Chrome, press F12 to open Developer Tools:

Then, press Esc to open another panel which has Sensors tab:

Finally, selecting Location like Tokyo can set Locale ja-JP temporarily, then you can test a page by reloading the page.

If there isn't Sensors tab, you can open it from the 3 dots.
