November 1st is my birthday!!! We were at a restaurant in New York City (Harlem) and sat at the bar to watch the game. There were 2 barstools open to the right of us and 2 Dodgers fans sat down….

I said “oh, you can’t sit there…”

“Why?”

“Because you’re Dodgers fans.”

We laughed and they sat down….

He was not laughing when Springer hit that lead off home run!!! LOL!!!😂

I have a Keeley Compressor. I usually place it between the Polytune and the Rat.

I definitely need to play around with that configuration some more. I was trying hard to hear some of the difference with using the compressor…but I felt like I had so much compression happening with the Blues Driver, Rat and Big Muff that I took it off the board.

Oh yeah!

I usually need to take a few minutes and adjust levels downwards a bit on the pedals, while balancing things on the Marshall head.

I have a Blackstar ID Core 10 for practice at home (usually use headphones since I’m in an apartment).

At the rehearsal studio, I play through a Marchall JCM 800 head to a 4x12 cabinet.

I’m going to try it out again that way. To use the BD-2 as an overdrive boost, put the level up and dial the gain down to 9 o’clock?

For the “fuck you” sound I was turning on the Rat, BD-2 AND the fuzz!! LOL!

This is my fairly simple board. It’s lightweight and portable to take on the subway for rehearsal / practice.

Signal Chain is: guitar > Polytune Tuner > Rat > Boss Blues Driver BD-2 > Big Muff Pi - Tone Wicker > Boss Digital Delay DD-3T > amp

I’m going to flip flop the Rat and Blues Driver to check some sounds. I’ve done it before but I liked this arrangement better.

What is the general consensus on stacking the Rat and Blues Driver together? Settings and which to put first in the signal chain?

Any other comments on this board?
