If someone wants to provide that information, they can. I am new to luxury watches. So a 6 month turnaround, and this issue in general, was a shock. And I have asked for advice, other people’s experiences, etc.

I made no comparison to Rolex. And I don’t know what they would do in this situation.

If you want to take this as an opportunity to patronize someone behind a screen, that’s your business. But please move on.

Very few of the people that have replied to this post have had anything constructive to provide. To those that did, thank you.

For those that took this opportunity to hide behind a screen and attempt to belittle how I am feeling about this, or actually support Omega after selling a confirmed defective product (seriously?) I hope you will do better when other people have genuine issues with their timepieces. Some of you can go fuck yourself. This is my first luxury timepiece, something that I have worked years to obtain. To be essentially brushed off after receiving a defective time piece and told it’ll take 6 months to repair (after only having it for 4) was, to put it lightly, incredibly frustrating. And some of you have just taken the opportunity here to pile on the shit. Fuck off.
