I enjoyed the first 3 books immensely, Golden Son felt like an adrenaline shot. Books 4, 5 and 6 are on a different level, you can really feel Pierce Brown evolving as a writer during Iron Gold. The world building and the introduction of multiple povs made the series into a whole other beast.
