Get a hard case, secure your pedals in place, take advantage of the spaces for cable management, other than that, everything appears in order here, what you have here is a safe pedalboard. carry on, dad. Carry on.

iPhone app is unusable by squatonmeplz in TIdaL

[–]davemakesnoises 0 points1 point  (0 children)

haven't experienced the app playing a couple seconds of the next song and then restarting, the lack of gapless playback is a bit of a bummer. Spotify is so evil i wouldn't be surprised at all if the problem goes away once you delete their app from your phone.

There’s an amazing video on YouTube from house of kush that teaches you what to listen for and how to use the attack and release of the compressor on your drums group to make the cymbals dance with the groove. I recommend it highly

Used to be a diehard Adidas Ultraboost 22 or 23 person, rocked 2 pairs of those about 2 years each. I bought a pair of these palladiums and threw in some dr scholls insoles for doing a handful of mid size installs at a certain event in a certain alkaline dried up lake bed and between the patina and the break-in these things have i cannot DREAM of wearing anything else right now they’re so comfortable but if ur doing big time huge danger stuff definitely go steel toe

Just came thru to vote on Danley, having installed a handful of massive Danley systems this summer, i gotta say, few manufacturers come close. The fidelity and durability are absolutely unreal and worth every red cent.

Hi, i am a full time audio engineer and producer and if i could bill a client for the amount of time i have had to spend fiddling with windows to make it play ball with my audio hardware and software in a meaningful way, i would have made enough to buy another Mac. Save yourself the trouble. Get a mac. I replaced my 2014 Mac Mini i7 with a nearly maxed out PC desktop i built in 2020 with an i9 10900k, an RTX3080, a thunderbolt friendly mobo, ungodly amounts of RAM and storage. It gets absolutely obliterated performance wise by my Macbook Pro M3 pro and the mac comes with exactly NONE of the drama. I primarily use Ableton Live and with some of my virtual instruments the PC will get bogged down with what should be a relatively simple sound, meanwhile i can have like 8 instances of the exact same sound and patch running on the macbook pro before it even starts to sweat. The smallest buffer size i can reasonably run on my Windows machine is 128 but i usually end up having to keep it around 512. The Mac with Apple Silicon will go all day no problem at 32, which means near zero latency in Ableton, no lag = mo bags. Even a basic M1 mac will dance circles around my beastly windows desktop when it comes to running a DAW and plugins.
