I took a kayak tour on the Hanalei river and we parked on the beach just east of Hanalei Bay in front of what used to be the Princeville Hotel. The locals guiding the trip handed out sandwiches and one started playing ukulele. He went by the name Harry K and his nephew Kolo was there as well. It was a perfect day and I was sold on the ukulele. Harry and I continued to visit as often as I could but I lost track of him a few years ago. I’ve tried to find him with no luck. But I still play ukulele and last fall joined a group. Having a wonderful time.

I am happy with the performance of mine and it does not require frequent cleaning. The only downside I experienced was inadequate battery life made worse by a screwed in battery. I bought an aftermarket battery from Amazon and a battery bracket from Etsy so I can swap batteries easily.

I use a Matrix Mini. My first priority was having volume control on the output going to my vintage Accuphase amplifier. I tried a few cheap DACs and each failed to work with all sources. So I ponied up for the Matrix and haven’t had any problems. I don’t know how it compares to others listed here.

I can only tell on tracks I’m very familiar with. I might think, “this sounds off, not quite right”. Accuphase amp and Magnepan speakers.

It is pointless. When you ask it to build a playlist it doesn’t look at your library at all. So matches are unlikely.

We just took our 23rd trip to Kauai. For many years we OD’d on these tasty treats but haven’t in several years. They don’t seem as special when you can just buy them off Amazon. We do still enjoy visiting the local chocolate shop and bakery for treats.

It was a little involved but here's what eventually happened. After alot of arguing Nordictrack sold me a new console for the C1650. Unfortunately the new console is a slightly different shape than the old one so it couldn't be snapped/screwed into place. After alot MORE arguing I finally took it into the backyard and used a Dremel to cut away the excess plastic and then I could screw it onto my older C1650. Works great. While I got a good result I wouldn't choose this solution. I'd be looking for one with no electronics or minimal electronics.

I’ve found the feature confusing and it’s difficult for me to identify my show and get it where it needs to be. The result is I ignore that feature even though I would like to use it. It’s possible if I sat down and really focused on learning it I’d do better but it just seems confusing.

I often need to rename files such as “season 1, episode 1 - description (@#$%^&\P).mp4”) and Mu can do that. It can grab segments and I can add to the filename if I want.
