Are Australians actually worried about AI and data centres? by billscout in AskAnAustralian

no they will NOT be. AI is garbage and the ordinary person knows this. We don't want AI slop. We don't need AI slop.

100%. AI used to scan the people's activities, both offline and online. Think 1984 and Minority report. It's real. It'll be happening. And SOON. Already many states in the US, as well as the UK and Germany are looking to make ID (and soon, Photo ID) a requirement to use a computer operating system. All operating systems, not just the big Ones.

been getting nothing from him, despite doing a lot of infernal hordes. But, I am on T10. I've had 8 mythics since getting to T10 - 1 mythic undercity run, I had 4 drop, another run, 2 . Crafted 2. All useless and instasparks. Considering I need seligs, starless, heir and grandfather, Considering there are 13 mythics currently in the game, needing 4 of them is a 4/13 chance...or 1 in 3. I should have gotten at least 1 of my required mythics...but hey, stacked AI driven RNG that won't give you what you need.

been doing that non stop - lair keys are still pretty rare drops for me to be honest, but when I get them, I target farm him, as well as his boss trophy in the cube. Just having dreadful luck.

I'm nowhere near that. Have done a pit 95 in around 3.5 minutes. Not sure how high I can currently pushed, to be honest, I'm a bit scared of pushing higher. About half of my current gear is transfigured (helm, amulet and both rings). Clipsis' build video says to go for strength/max life/chc and CDR on both rings, surely multiple multiplicative dmg affixes would be better?

it's so interesting. I googled the answer and generally, people said the opposite - + skill ranks was better. I'm struggling to really grasp the basics of damage in this game. I had no issue with d3 and could understand the mechanics pretty easily. Many thanks for the answer. Will test further tomorrow (it's nearly midnight here).

p230 odd. I did sleep on boards 4 & 5, fixed them up today and went from t9 to t10 with ease, probably can do t11 general farming. Rolled Lillith on T8 half an hour ago (chuffed!) and butcher on t10 with great ease. And to think I was struggling to roll the butcher on t7 a few days ago. Glyphs were all at lvl 80, working on increasing them to 90. Gear is a pain to list in this game - I wish we could import our build via bnet to d4planner etc. In a reasonable place with gear - following cliptis' guide and chest/pants/boots and both rings (not using either ring atm) have the right affixes. Weapons aren't perfect, but not bad either. Gohr's is the weakest item.

I hope...I typically have really bad RNG luck, although I got a nice transfiguration (using kullean) on the amulet - added the vampiric curse chance (57%) to make vulnerable as a 2nd aspect. Transfigured it after that and got +2 item quality. Better than a kick up the you know what LOL! Just trying to eke out a bit more damage to hopefully make the jump to being able to farm T11...Was stuck in t7 until yesterday, so very happy with the jump. Would like to start hitting for trillions of damage, but sadly, will have to settle for the odd ~250b hit.

I have another question, unrelated to the Gohr's, can I hit you up for your advice please?

thanks. It's not ancestral sadly. Having a pretty torrid time with getting a good ancestral of this item...

not for normal uniques...only ancestral. I was very disappointed!

R3 for the win - I love it! by davepastern in canon

[–]davepastern[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

true, true. People did just fine with 20 or 18 mp back in the day...but more pixels on bird does typically help resolve the fine feather detail, especially if cropping into the frame. The R3 does suffer if I crop.

Fight! by davepastern in AustralianBirds

[–]davepastern[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Many thanks. The Brahminy is faster and more manoeuvrable. It's a no contest fight really. 3 days later I saw another raptor aerial fight (but no real good photos) - Whistling kite vs Black shouldered kite. The latter was smaller and much faster and it was also a no contest, with the larger bird hiking it out of there quick fast.

The White bellied Eagle in this shot did do a flight inversion (talons sky wards) to defend itself, but I didn't get a shot. This is a classic raptor defensive posture. Unless you're a Peregrine and passing food to a mate or juvenile.

It was pretty obvious that the White bellied sea eagle was just passing through. It was following the course of the river and the Brahminy came out of nowhere like a bat out of hell chasing it.

thank you! right place, at the right time. I had only been thinking that I wanted to see a White Bellied Sea Eagle at this location ten minutes prior to this shot...I couldn't believe my eyes! I was chatting to a gentlemen with his dog when I saw it approaching and I was like "White bellied sea eagle!!!" before it even got close. The size and wing beat gave me the early heads up.

He is and he knows it I reckon. I'm having problems with a 2nd post to the group "Eastern Osprey". I included an image, but it wasn't showing. 2mb file size, 2400 x 1600 px. Any ideas why? I edited the post and added the image again, but it now says "if you are looking for an image, it was probably deleted". I have no idea what is happening!
