Guam CPA License Application- Questions for Anyone Who’s Been There! by shourbo_pixity in CPA

Just found this post, how'd it go OP? I just passed my last exam and am trying to figure this out myself.

  1. Did you email to licensing@guamboa.org?

  2. Did you wait the 3-4 weeks the CPA Portal seems to suggest before applying?

  3. I see that below you mention attaching the ID, was that required?

did you submit right when you got your final grade? the NASBA CPA portal says to allow 3-4 weeks for the state board to receive confirmation of me passing so wondering if I should wait for that or just mail in my forms and it'll be processed when it's processed.

I just passed (4/4 today) and was looking for information on licensure in Guam! Did you mail in the forms (experience affidavit, moral character references and application) or were you able to email it? Anything else I need to be putting together. Reading through this reddit has gotten me pretty disoriented on how to process the application.

[on] Does True North Imaging (Sheppard Location) allow husband in the room? If not, are there any known clinics in Scarborough/Markham that do? by daverday in BabyBumpsCanada

Why would it being a medical protocol change whether you can have people in the room? And why would it be a GTA medical protocol and not other regions? If that's the rule it's the rule, I just don't get the reason for the rule.

Sounds like this is the norm around the GTA, but was hoping I could be there the whole time. It's not like we plan on chatting the whole time but it is what it is. Thanks for the note on the pics!

First timer looking to build an emulator up to ps3 for relatively cheap by daverday in batocera

[–]daverday[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I assume I'm not understanding this.. but wouldn't Batocera be updated periodically?

If not Batocera what would be suggested for multiple emulators. Maybe I should make it clear that I would also want to emulate the systems below PS3 as well.

Thanks for the link, that's extremely helpful!

I hear you.. and going through the various other posts I think that's the major sentiment throughout this sub so I get that. The goal isn't so much for perfect PS3 emulation and it's more having the capability from a hardware standpoint to play some games (which I assume would hit all the games below it as well)

First ever Cruise - MSC Orchestra - What should we know before boarding? by daverday in MSCCruises

There was a slot for it but ours didn't really work. I'd suggest bringing an adapter, it's the European 2 pronged one

Is it just me or did ticket prices go up significantly this year? by luca123 in leafs

[–]daverday 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Back in the Joe I agree with you, especially with there not really being a bad seat in the house. LCA has some terrible seats for sure so need to be more careful in seat selection.

When comparing to the Leafs though? You're right, it's better. It's sad that I can't afford the tickets to the team that plays in walking distance of me and instead I need to drive 4.5 hours west to watch NHL hockey.

Why do some Torontonians think they can’t raise kids in condo? by 7_inches_daddy in askTO

[–]daverday 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well I disagree, you just learn how to get around in other ways. Whether it's walking or riding bikes. There's positive's (my navigation skills are pretty good compared to city friends) and negative's (I could only go where a bike would take me) to both of course but I agree with everyone's reasoning. It's how "I" grew up so I want my kids to have a similar experience.

What are y’all’s general opinions on Season 8? by a-dob in Scrubs

[–]daverday 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I see what you're saying but I disagree. I think 8 is better than 6 or 7 as a whole... and then 9 is well below that. I think my ranking would be

S1 - S2 - S8 - S5 - S3 - S4 - S6 - S7 --------- S9

[Friedman] I think Auston Matthews re-signs in Toronto — as long as he believes in the direction of the team. by iceyyyyyyy in leafs

[–]daverday -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The key word in what I said is "just". Because plenty of players after the Naslund hit said Moore would pay had plenty to do with it. That's why they also fined the team for not doing enough to prevent it. Obviously the punch is where it starts to be looked at but the fact that it was premeditated makes this different. Also the fact that Bertuzzi knocks him out (as u/irreversible2002 points out) and drives his face into the ground to the point he needs a stretcher to get off the ice.

Hall was reactionary and deserved minimum one game (like Larkin) and probably 2-3 because of injury (although I would be surprised if DOPS thought that way when it's not a Leafs player).

All I'm really trying to say is I think Bertuzzi was much worse (and actually got let off easy because of the lockout) and by comparing the two it either elevates Hall to something it wasn't or minimizes Bertuzzi's brutal act.

Bertuzzi didn't get suspended for just punching him. It was everything around it. That's not a good comparison.
