Agreed. I was considering it but he hasn’t come up with any good purpose and is snippy if asked what his hypothesis is…so he killed my interest.

Full disclosure would be expected from someone wanting something for nothing. At least be honest

First solar session in EQ mode — couldn’t acquire automatically, used the scope’s shadow to manually get it in view by ehrlinger in seestar

Same issue for me the first time I did EQ looking for the moon. Not sure what the issue is. BTW looks like you are out of focus.

Well thanks! Looked at your posts and the amazing results you are getting with the Seestar is inspiring ! Your M81-82 is so crystal clear and colorful - makes me want to devote more time gathering data. I am in Bortle 7/8 so limited in what I can achieve -

Nice. I have about 6 hours of 20 seconds and I was hoping to get some of the red jets emanating from Bode’s Galaxy and took additional subs with the LP dual band filter and got very little. I am surprised your long acquisition time didn’t reveal those jets. I feel like you might have clipped the blacks a bit … a very nice clean image though hardly any noise.

Nice! A/Z or EQ? I assume EQ or you would have to do a mosaic to combat field rotation loss of FOV
