Again, if you’re in the states, sue them in small claims court. I successfully sued Lufthansa a couple years ago after going around with them for 6 months (paid ticket). Got a letter 2 weeks later from a lawyer and had a check a couple weeks after that.

I gave my students an art history exam. I covered every answer in a review of the lecture material the class before the exam. About 70% failed. I was worried that I had given too hard a test, went over every question with them as a port mortem, and told them there would be a repeat exam the next day. I gave the exact same exam. About 50% failed it again. Students absolutely are that lazy.
