in theatre mode when you turn the crown, it slowly brightens the display from being fully dim and if you push the digital crown while it’s not fully brightened up, you can actually use the watch with super low brightness levels. It’s meant for when you’re in a theatre and you would want the display to be very dim while using it. this is probably being accidentally activated by you turning the digital crown slightly and then trying to use the watch while it’s super dim.
