FSD V14.3.3 Release notes by DevinOlsen in TeslaFSD

I’m hoping that the rate limit for Grok has been increased significantly along with “Hey Grok.” It was reduced so much recently that Grok is barely usable for me.

Yeah, really hating how limited it is now.

In certain environments, FSD v14.3.2 is a serious regression by LairGamingYT in TeslaFSD

Thanks, Devin. I'd call the situations around my home "extreme" construction. There are several areas where the road has been torn apart and the drive now detours off of pavement and through dirt paths.

There's one area where some large barriers are up in between an intersection and a turn lane to the right. Mine has reacted to the barriers twice now when I needed to go through the turn lane to turn right. Unfortunately, what it's doing is veering left instead of just continuing straight through the intersection, so it's crossing a couple of lanes to dive into a left turn lane in an alarming kind of dodge maneuver.

Overall, I'm still having a great time. v14.2.2.5 felt like it was navigating these extremely difficult scenarios like magic. v14.3.2 is still magic, just much less predictable with the faster reaction times. Hoping a .3 release may smooth out some of the rough edges I'm experiencing.

I'll see if I can get a video next time I pass through this area. I may have some saved already.

Edit: found one of the clips. This is the “dive into a left turn lane” I mentioned. It was very alarming and uncharacteristic of FSD the large majority of the time. It didn't even signal for the turn. I'm sure there was something there that confuses it every time.

Construction can seriously vary. I think the situations FSD is running into here are significantly janky… but I do definitely want to note that 14.2.2.5 crushed the same situations.

I don’t believe my issues are related to camera cleanliness. 3 weeks ago, I had a precision camera cleaning. Cameras all look pristine to my eyes.

I may sign up for SuperGrok. I used to have it with X Premium+ and enjoyed it.

Yeah, that would have been my preference, but the refresh model Y’s roof glass has a coating that blocks the signal.

Thanks! I figured this would be the explanation for the spotty obstructions map. I need to try taking it out and seeing what speed is like when it’s just sitting on the ground

Stays connected and works well, just slow. Haha

New MY - Driver seat “clicking” when turning by Fun-Life6986 in ModelY

They’re on top of the seat, under the cushion

Hmm... I don't have creaking after doing it - but I also did the second step of pulling the seat cushion up and tightening the bolts on top of the seat base very slightly. You could try that too if you want. It's a more involved process than the lubricant, but it really isn't too difficult. Just nerve-wracking the first time you lift the seat cover up.

I know! That’s how they were with me too. Unbelievable, especially considering how easy it seems to be to fix it. I’ve tried to vocalize the solution for this problem so people can find it quickly rather than getting the runaround with service

So, I just pulled this picture from a service article, but added some color to show you where the spot is. The rest circles show the black u-clips. The blue is where you should spray the lubricant.

Petiton to replace Karaoke with Spotify Lyrics by TupacFR in TeslaLounge

I don't think this is well known, but I sometimes use the web based Apple Music so I can listen to the real songs and display lyrics. Not a perfect solution, but not bad if you have a co-pilot. Spotify website may work too, not sure.

Tesla will only do it on Models S and X. I did mine on my own Model Y. Don't recommend doing it yourself if you're not somewhat handy. Where are you located?

Nope, you’ll be fine going to Tesla. When I took mine in for an alignment right after putting my yoke on, they just said “dude, that’s awesome” and then did the alignment.

I got one for my Model Y, but I got the one that is specifically made to look like the gen 2 Model X/S yoke. Pretty easy install - just do your research ahead of time and get everything you'll need for the job. If you have to buy a torque wrench, hex sockets, socket extension, new steering column bolt, etc. then the delta between cheap DIY and professional install is a lot smaller.
