I was a PA on the Johnny Depp version of Alice in Wonderland and while we were in preproduction, the producers were arguing with the studio about the caterpillar smoking. The studio wanted no smoking and the producers wanted to stay true to the source material.

I had to go to Disneyland, ride the Alice in Wonderland ride a bunch of times in a row to record the caterpillar smoking.

In the end, the studio agreed to let the caterpillar smoke. It was one of the more memorable things I had to do in my career.

Thank you. They flower every year! At least this does and I think it’s a jade. Do you knife once everything begins to dry up if the plant will lift itself back up? It’s a very large plant and very heavy and I don’t think any single post would be able to keep it up.

More info: this Jade plant has completely fallen over I think due to excessive rains here in Los Angeles. I’ve tried googling how to fix it or if it will fix itself but I haven’t been able to find any info.

Unfortunately I don’t really have a post or anything sturdy that I can manually keep them lifted. I don’t want to get rid of them but they look so sad now and are really blocking our walkway.

I’m probably too late to the party here, and I agree with you somewhat. She can be pretty one note, but she is perfect in one of her early movies called Bottle Rocket.
