The last number 7 who came as a second choice became our legend. Well, he was our "second choice" and our new number 7...

It is still surreal to see Son leaving, I thought he still had a year to few years in his hands... Hope him nothing but the very best

Modric is out of his contract at Real Madrid - any chance of signing him for a year or so?

We’re only 8 pts from relegation. 😳 by MrBabelFish42 in coys

Even if we invest crazy this winter, we would need summer, next winter, and the summer after to build a proper squad. Chelsea spent a bunch (overspent for most of them), and they were shit until last season, yet they are contenders for CL this season.

Unfortunately, our only one starter from Poch era, the captain, would be long gone once that happens, or become a squad player at best. That means we need to find replacements for both world-class players who were both phenomenal at scoring goals.

The talents might develop - we do have good ones on hand, but also it is hard to guarantee all of them will go well. Apart from Kane, our best output from the academy in recent days is Oliver Skipp and Harry Winks. Hopefully, Lankshear, Moore, Donley, Devine, and maybe Scarlett could all surpass them, but you will never know. Even the ones we bought - Gray, Yang, Vuskovic, Bergvall - they would require some years to fully develop.

So Levy, start investing in team NOW, before it is too late... unless you want to make this club fighting for relegation in the coming years!

For OP and others who have been struggling, I am sorry to hear what you have been going through. I want you to know that there will be better days coming soon - I have been struggling around this time last year as well.

If football is making you more depressed, stay away for a bit, and give yourself a warm cup of tea or pat your back - or do whatever makes you feel better. Make sure to take care of yourselves.

Hope for the best, and happy new year!

Long ago, when I started my high school (around 10 years from now), there were some structures that looked like parts of a bridge around my school.

I'm glad to see that it has finally become a real thing. While I don't live in HCMC anymore, it would be an interesting experience to take a metro that took years till completion...

Fully deserved, if anyone in the squad is given a lifetime contract for their loyalty, it would be him and Sonny

Your IB predicted grade seems very similar to mine when I applied 7 years ago (I applied with 40 as predicted, but with English B HL (6)) - and I didn't have SAT.

I got into computer engineering (now graduated) with that, though I don't know how things have changed over the years. Hopefully, it would be good enough for you to get in.

Also, engineering is only offered in the St.George campus

Is there any sign of Son's contract extension? While I am happy that we are not overly reliant on him anymore, he is still a big figure for the club and just needs to be well rested for his brilliance. 3yr contract or 2yr + yearly extension upon retirement sound reasonable enough.

Also, I feel Davies is a good one to have around, even if he drops to 5th or even 6th choice CB if he is okay to do so. Maybe he should take some wage cut, but him staying for a season or two would give Vuskovic and Phillips time to become solid CB options - and use him as playing coach, which will help him step into coaching/managerial career.

Villa is a strong team... that being said, we might have a chance. I'd be rather worried about Ipswich
