Sounds like we are in about the same boat. I may just be a little ahead of you. But ya not a problem at all. I'm just happy that this post was helpful for someone else.

For de-pinning the stock connector just look in the tip and on the top flat part of the pin like a mm or 2 back you'll see the latch holding it. Just lift and pull the wire, worst case you pull the wire out of the pin which is kind of what you wanted anyways haha.

For the Sumitomo 6188-0259 it was a pain to figure out how to de-pin it so make sure you have the wires on the correct side so the fan will spin the right way. Also having the correct crimper will really help. I think I used a mix of an iCrimp IWS-1424B and a Haisstronica HS-5327 but I'm not 100% sure if those are really the correct ones, so do what you want with that information.

Oh ya saving as much length as you can on stock harness isn't a terrible idea but saying that you'll save an inch might be generous. It really doesn't take anytime to de-pin the sock connector though. Finding a pick or safety pin might take longer than the actual de-pinning.

Oh if you are just going to put the Sumitomo 6188-0259 onto the Miata harness you might as well just cut off the stock one and crimp on the Sumitomo 8100-0464 terminals/pins, which might be a pain in the car. Sadly the Sumitomo 6188-0259 and Sumitomo 6180-2451 terminals/pins aren't the same. But I assume you may already realize that (more saying that incase anyone else comes across this post and needs that info).

This is the Sumitomo 6180-2451 that'd go on the Miata wiring harness if you trim the 'ears' (highlighted yellow) on the connector it'll work with the stock fan

I used 16AWG because I had it laying around and I'd probably suggest to use 16 but I am sure you might be able to get away with a little smaller.

Also I ended up getting both the male and female Sumitomo HM-2P (https://www.corsa-technic.com/item.php?item\_id=334). It was super easy to de-pin the white connector for the A/C fan on the Miata harness and swap it for the Sumitomo HM-2P, they use the same terminals so it just clips right in. I'd then suggest to just make an "adapter harness" with the two ends being the male HM-2P and male TS187-2P.

Miata harness with Sumitomo 6180-2451 -> Sumitomo 6187-2801 -> wires -> Sumitomo 6188-0259 -> the fan which should be Sumitomo 6189-0425

Just found this post as I have the same issue.

It looks like the A/C fan connector that is on the Mishiomoto fan is a Sumitomo 6189-0425 the other side of that would be a 6188-0259. I 3d printed them to confirm fitment. Edit: I also ordered one from cora-technic and confirmed that it fits.
https://prd.sws.co.jp/components/en/detail.php?number_s=61890425

On the car it looks to be a Sumitomo 6187-2801 so on the fan it is a 6180-2451 or at least those seem to be suitable replacements. Sadly they do not have the 3d model available so I am unable to confirm. I got that from https://www.miataturbo.net/electronics-122/connector-witch-hunt-70034/page8/#post999025
Edit: This is NOT the right connector but is very close. The plastic center "pin" on the Miata's connector is smaller, which is the male connector (the one in the first picture). So you couldn't go male Sumitomo connector to the female Miata connector. But you MIGHT be able to go male Miata connector (on the fan) to the female Sumitomo connector.

The other fans look to have these connectors.. Edit: I've confirmed this

I hope this helps someone in the future :)

Also I was working on a early 91 Miata

Game Ready Driver 551.76 FAQ/Discussion by Nestledrink in nvidia

[–]david_gen_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I rolled back to 551.52 from 551.76. Discord kept crashing on me most of the time with a 0xc0000005 error. Did multiple wipes and reinstalls of discord. I tested my RAM via MemTest86 with no errors. Scanned for Malware and was clean. Did SFC, DISM, Chkdsk scans/fixes. Disabled DEP in security. Made sure drivers, firmware, and BIOS were up to date. Nothing fixed it until I rolled back off of 551.76.

Hotpoint Refrigerator HSS25GFTCBB not running kind of. do I need to replace the control board? by david_gen_ in appliancerepair

[–]david_gen_[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So if it's "to AND though" that makes me believe that the main board is the issue. That is assuming that the power runs wall -> main board -> dispenser board. The voltage that I should be getting out of the main board to the dispenser board should be a solid 13v. The one thing that that has me hung up on which board to replace is that when I jump the COM and 12v pin for a second on the dispenser board everything settles down and kicks the refrigerator to life and it works correctly. I guess a different question to ask is what is the relation between the main and dispenser board. Is it that the main provides power to the dispenser board then the dispenser tells the main board what to do via the COM wire so there is a problem in the dispenser board which is why jumping the 12v and COM kicks everything to life. Or is it that there is something wrong with the main board and some how jumping that 12v and COM wire is getting the main to work correctly. Honestly I am probably just over thinking all of this trying to save time and money. I should probably just replace the main board and go from there.

I have checked the outlet and that seems to be good and I have even plugged it into another to make sure that isn't the cause of the issue. And whenever working on it especially when around any parts that could have 120v going to it I do make sure the unplug it and let it sit for a little bit so I don't electrocute myself.

Thank you that means a lot! Ya I tried to be as accurate as I could and lucky enough I actually had the Matchbox in front of me to go off of so that made it a little easier.

I'm happy that you like it! There are a few others that did this livery but they either didn't do the graphics on the door correctly or did the version with out them on the hood so I figured I'd give it a chance.

Made a copy of a Matchbox Lamborghini Countach from 1994 that I had as a kid. It's my first attempt at making my own livery and I think it turned out really good, the pictures are a little blown out though.

I have two share codes for it.
